These details were obviously stolen from one of the websites where we paid online (they used my official name that appears like that only in the passportThe name is Russian and in the passport it's translated to Ukrainian, so it's used only for billing purposes or governmental questions, there is no chance I use my translated name anywhere else)
After I contacted them and asked to remove my personal info, they demanded to send them the IDI have offered to make an authorization by the phone numbers they already have and published them attached to our profiles, but they ignored this optionObviously, they need only documents to resell them for identity theft
Besides, my ebay account was hacked less than a week after they had published my details and I strongly believe it's very connected
Locatefamily.com collects and makes available private information about individualsIn accordance with US and UK law, when requested, they MUST legally take the information downThey operate at least partly in Canada so they are held to them laws
They try to get around this by automating their removal process and making it nearly impossible to get info removedIf you want your information removed you have to have an email address that includes your full first and last nameIf you don't have this, they won't help you
Again, this is breaking US law
I have attempted contact with the company twice, both times I have had an automated email come back at me refusing my request
They DO NOT care if you have married and that is why your surname is differentThey exist solely to make your life difficult, and they excuse it away afterwards
After several attempts to "opt-out", the company repeatedly has sent "no-reply emails, refusing to remove my personal information from their website This is a violation of my privacy, as I have the right to "opt-out"
