*** *** THE EVAPORATOR COIL HAS BEEN AN ISSUE SINCE IT WAS INSTALLTHIS HAVE BEEN AND ONGOING MATTERNOT ONLY I HAVE EXPERIENCE ISSUE WITH MY UNIT OTHER HAVE ALSO (THE COMPANY ONLINE CUSTOMER REVIEW)I FEEL LIKE THIS COMPANY INSTALL FAULTY PARTS IN MY UNIT AND DID NOT INSTALL EVAPORATOR COIL PREPARELYYOU STATED THAT THEIR WAS A LOOSE SCHRADER CORE FOR IT TO LEAK WITHIN THE FOUR MONTH TIME FRAME PRIOR TO THE INSTALLATION THAT SHOW YOU ALL PERFORMED POOR MAINTANENCEI AM AWARE THAT ITS THREE YEAR LATER BUT THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS ITS THE SAME ISSUEI FEEL LIKE THE PART WAS FAULTY WHEN YOU INSTALL THE COILYOU ALL RUSHED TO COMPLETE THE JOB BEFORE MY CLOSING WHICH WAS 1/28/THATS WHY I HAD EXPERIENCE DIFFICULTY FOR MONTHS LATER AND NOW THREE YEARS LATER WITH THE EVAPORATOR COIL

The following is a time line for all the repairs to the customer's systems that has made the complain:Home closed: 2/24/20126/13/2013 ($90.00 diagnostic fee) replaced upstairs system thermostat9/23/2013 ($0 diagnostic fee) replaced down stairs system thermostat11/26/2013 ($0 diagnostic fee) replaced...

upstairs system thermostat7/2/2014 ($90.00 diagnostic fee) upstairs system not cooling7/19/2014 ($480.00 in warranty repair "labor and materials") replaced upstairs system indoor coil10/1/2014 ($225.00 diagnostic and material) down stairs system not cooling11/25/2014 ($50.00 material charge only) leak check down stairs system found bad coil quoted $480.00 for coilThe home came with a warranty of 1 year labor and 5 or 10 year parts.  AC Designs has stood behind the warranty.The complaint of not being able to fix the system and its the same system the customer is having problems with is untrue.We are currently working with the builder and the equipment manufacturer to help resolve the issue.

Ms. [redacted] i dont show where your evap coil was ever replaced under warranty.  The original coil was stolen and we were contracted by the builder to replace and we did. Fourmonths after the coil was replaced the system showed a leak and we found it in the schrader core located in the tubing of the coil.  This part was tightened back in place and the system charged back to manufactures recommendations.  It has been over three years since we have been contacted by you and AC Designs is willing to renderall services needed but you are out of your first year full labor warranty.  You will be required to pay all labor and diagnostic fees.  Please contact the service departmentif you would like service.Sincerely,[redacted]Tell us why here...

Ms. [redacted], My records show that your evaporator coil was stolen and replaced 1/27/2014. On 4/15/2014 we repaired a leak in the evaporator coil (schrader valve was loose) and system recharged.  We have not heardanything from you now for over 3 years.  You are not a preventive...

maintenance customer or a annual tune-up customer.  We have not been to your home to diagnose the problem.  If you will call our servicedepartment and set up a service call(diagnostic fee will apply)) we can tell you what is wrong with your system.  If the system is low on refrigerant the technician can locate the leak(leak check fee will apply).When the problem is pinpointed the technician can give you options on what your possibilities are. manufacturer-3-26-14 ( Master b**room hot) found broken bypass damper arm not allowing proper air flow-3-27-14 (repair)  replace damper and check operation.-5-29-14 ( master too hot) did air flow and temperature test throughout home. Found all temperatures within specs. set charge to proper specs.6-? -16 Customer call** and spoke with **.  Stat** that unit not cooling well and she has had nothing but trouble. Sent her the air flow sheet and load calcs of home. Bas** on Florida spec of 95/75.-I went over her history with her, told her that she was not a maintenance customer and we had not been out in 2 years, she stat** she could not afford us. Our Maintenance program then was $109.00 year to includ** two visits. After a lengthily relentless conversation to get her off the phone I agre** to send a technician out at no charge .-6-23-16 Found compressor off on internal overload  cool** off compressor and set charge to manufacturers specs.  2 lbs of Refrigerant -   Summary. in 2014 we provid** service  and did not hear again for 2 years.  in 6-2016 provid** a free service and now 14 months later.  System is approaching 5 years old  It is my opinion that the system is low on freon and not cooling to full capacity. This is a customer issue not the fault of A/C Designs nor Richmond American. Tech took picture of other company stickers on unit.   No calls since then 6-2016    It would be my opinion that the system is low on refrigerant and not cooling well and now she want it for free again.  A/C Designs has gone above and beyond the call to assist this customer.  The fact that she went two years after her last call that the master b**room was hot to reach out to us tells me that the master cools just fine when the system cools.  When the system is working as design** and to manufacturer specs there is no issues.   As far as her claim to 400 sq ft per ton. his is hog wash  that is a statement from a old timer that has not kept up with the time.  Home are buoilt more efficient not requiring less tonnage to cool  If you go back to haw many of the J-246 planswere built you will see that the sizing is correct IF the unit is operating properly

Designs has had NO service request or routine maintenance request for this home since 02/2013 (original homeowner). That was over 2 years ago.  The system has
draining properly for 3 summers without any issues, that AC Designs is aware of.  If there
was a problem with the workmanship than it would not have taken three years to
show.
 
In Short. Since AC Designs has not had any contact with this
home in 2.5 years and not knowing who has, we are not responsible for any
repairs to your home or system.
