A/C Engineers

This complaint is both warranty and service related with a possible minor health issue.On 11/09/11 we had a new HVAC unit installed with thermostat and new metal ductwork with insulation a little later. All work was done by AC Engineers as directed by [redacted] the company's owner. After the initial proposal and then agreement was settled, almost all correspondence between myself and [redacted] was through emails which worked quite well and provides a tangible history or "paper trail". Enhanced warranty durations were stated which required early registration with the manufacturer and was to be taken care of by [redacted] Recently we found that never happened but after contacting the manufactured & explaining the circumstances, they have agreed to make an exception and is allowing us the better equipment warranty.All agreed upon costs per the invoices have been paid to AC Engineers but the work has not been completed. Repeated email attempts to [redacted] have failed to gain a reply. Registered (signature required) mail received at his business address on 8/14/13 requesting he contact me produced no response. The following items have not been addressed or completed: A second faulty thermostat increasing energy costs as well as discomfort, mismatched home siding was to be replaced with the correct style but has not been, cleanup of construction materials and removal of replaced ductwork from under the house, installation of individual balance dampers (in the contract but not installed) and what appears to be some serious condensation (when using the AC) from the new ductwork causing water puddling and dampness under our home as well as some of the same coming through the ducts into our home. The warranty agreement included three years labor as well as the equipment warranties. Our documentation related to this process is detail and complete. We have spent more on energy as well as multiple "allergy related" doctor visits that may be due to the dampness mentioned above.
