I received a rebate form from my Eye Doctor for Bausch & Lomb Biotrue Contact Lenses. It was two rebates - one for $30 for purchasing 4 boxes of the lenses and another for $30 advertised as a "$30 Guaranteed Fit Fee Rebate." I submitted the rebate in October and on 11/29/13 I received one gift card for $30 but I was supposed to receive two. I called and spoke with Rosie. I was told she would escalate the issue and I could call back in 7-10 days. With the busy holiday season, I did not have a chance to call back until today, 1/8/14. I spoke with Sheryl, who informed me that the lenses that I purchased were trial lenses, so they did not qualify for the rebate. I verified with my Eye Doctor that the lenses that I paid $260 for were NOT trial lenses, and I called back and spoke with Diane. I informed her that I needed to speak with a supervisor and I was told I would hear back "possibly" by the end of this week. I am frustrated and it seems as though this may be some sort of scam. The codes from the boxes came from the company and they are saying the codes are invalid? You can verify with [redacted] - ###-###-#### that I did not purchase trial lenses. They have all of the necessary paperwork and they honored the first $30 gift card, so it makes no sense that they would now say that the lenses that I purchased did not qualify for the rebate!
