Review: My mom had a mobility scooter given to her by the retirement home she resides in. The scooter was not working so she went to this facility to purchase two batteries.(sometime in 4-15) They were not in stock so they ordered them and delivered them to her. She left them to charge over night and it still did not work. A man came to get the batteries and the scooter, and said he would take it to the store and try to see what was wrong with it. He left her a scooter to try out for the week. He told her she could buy it for 500.00. She didn't like it and told him to bring back her old one. He left the loaner scooter there for a period of time ignoring her request to return hers. He said hers needed a wiring harness and would cost 500.00 to fix. She kept insisting to bring hers back and give her a refund of 100.00 she paid for batteries that were never used and in his possession. A lady from the facility was also in contact with him about this matter and he said he would return both money and scooter. After months went by he finally delivered a scooter and it wasn't hers. Telling her it can not be fixed. My mom then said this is not mine get it out of here,I don't want it. All the time she has been talking with him telling him he better not be scamming her. I have been calling now a month later. She still has no refund or a scooter. I got in contact with them on 6-4-15 and was told she would get the check on 6-5. I also ask were her scooter was and he said here in our scrap pile and I will have to see about it. I called again on 6-5 because she did not receive the check and he said someone would return my call. Noone did. I called on 6-8 and 6-9 no answer. I then emailed them and got a call on 6-10. [redacted] said he had been out there and her scooter was no longer at the store. It was in the garbage.. He said her scooter was not fixable. He later told me she said to get rid of it. Then said it would cost 500.00 to fix. I said which is it not fixable or fixable. He says it's gone I no longer have it. I told him she is not capable of making these decisions and he has no right taking her property away. He then said I have to check on the refund of the batteries and get back to you. He has not contacted me nor will answer my calls once again.Desired Settlement: I would like her to get a refund of 100.00 and her scooter.

Terrible , they don't care about your loved ones, they just want your check, then you are on your own. My family purchased a scooter from a & c medical & they didnt want to know anything about it once they were paid. They had to make a small adjustment to the seat to fit my mother & it was too much trouble. It took 4 1/2 months to get them to budge & agree to come out to fix it& then they didn't adjust it . They tried to make it look like they did. They lied to me & my mother about what they did & tried to cover it up. They know it's still not right & we are still not happy yet they refuse to do anything about it. I'm still waiting for Craig to call back! Meanwhile mom has a scooter chair seat that's too high for her, & worst part is - it's a simple fix, & they don't care. Heed my advice , steer clear of them , you & your loved ones don't need the aggravation
