First class business From start to finish, everyone we dealt with was very professional and pleasant to deal with (extremely rare!) The installers were the most impressive part, which is saying a lot because the entire experience was great The installers were perfectionist and polite I'm a very picky guy and I could not find anything that they could have done any better I'm 100% happy with the company

Stark Glassblock did not offer any resolution to the problem, they obviously have missed the point. If they would of advised me that the solid glassblock windows would of been better for window wells I would have gotten them. The original windows did not leak because they were solid glass. The only offer made by Stark Glassblock was he could replace the window and charge us!
[redacted] ..I was told 6-8 for a door ..12 weeks later ..no door ..I called .[redacted] said another 3-4 weeks ..really ..I requested a cancellation and full refund ...and then she got really RUDE ..said she would hold me to the contract ...THEY broke the contract not me ...I was never notified ..no one came out to measure ..and i'm told I am to pay full balance regardless ...not going to happen ..I got a lawyer ...they are in the wrong ....Like to take your money , and not stand behind their contract ...

Customer stated
that she loved her glass block windows and the installers did a fantastic job!
But one window has a leak after we had a fierce rain storm on 10/28/2014. After
looking at all the glass block windows it was determined that the customers problem
was not a glass block problem at all. It was a water problem. After the rain
storm the customers window well filled up with water. (Window wells are not
suppose to fill up with water.)
We explained to
the customer that a vent in the glass block window was not waterproof for
standing water and pressure. No window in the world could have prevented water
from leaking through it because it was under water. I told her she had a water
problem and I am not a waterproofer. Her downspout could have overflowed, her
footer could be broken or clogged. Her landscaping could have changed over the
years. Mother Nature caused this problem.
On the matter of
me raising my voice. Our conversation became heated when the customers
contractor injected himself in our conversation. And that is that.
The customer
stated that she wanted to replace the vented window with a solid one. I said I
would do that for a fee, she said no. I also told her this would not solve her
water problem.
We feel that the customers
claims and complaints are unjustified. The customer has a water problem not a
glass block window problem. Sometimes mother nature is not kind to some of us,
but to blame Stark Glass Block for a flash flood is ridiculous
It is unfortunate when a
customer blames a great company of wrongdoing. When it is very obvious that the
customers property has a water problem. (The window wells filled with water)
This customer recently
purchased this property and has been doing repairs to this older home. It is
clear that the old window wells need repaired.
Because of this, Stark
Glass Block feels that we can not satisfy this customer. We do not do
foundation repairs and complete window well installations.
Hopefully, this customer
can find a contractor that will remove and replace her window wells properly. Following, I have included a couple of articles that might help her
understand her problem.
I hired Stark Glass block to replace my basement windows. The owner came out and was very polite and professional. He gave me a very reasonable quote. The windows were custom made and were installed about two weeks later. They were very flexible on the installation date and time to accommodate my schedule. The installation crew was also very polite and professional, and they took pride in their work. The window installation was perfect, they did an excellent job! This is definitely a company you want to do business with if you are in the market for glass block products.
