Let's be clear!ACT has responded to each telephone call, text, email and letterTiptoe is not something we doWhen a person does not hear the answer the want, They can "Qualify" it any way they want.*** *** was not present to see the ignorant and aggressive manner her *** performed.ACT provided a professional cleaning, caulking and sealing on a 10-year old drivewayThe driveway crevasses were filled, as contracted, with quality materials and workmanshipThe products and efforts we used, caused no spotting, damage or visual change to their driveway surfaceWe saw no evidence of spotting that could have been caused by ACT.I will reiterate our position one last timeThis complaining party is unreasonableThey have no evidence of ACT creating damage to their aged drivewayOur work is, and was, professionalNo amount of whining or complaining will change these facts

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: *** *** was contacted within the first week of this application and over the following month regarding the application. The issue of the scratches on the driveway from the moving company that needed to sealed is correct. As of today I have yet to be reimbursed by the moving company so this is an out of pocket expense to me. I have attached copies of the email correspondence between *** and I regarding the spotting on our driveway. My *** did loose his cool after *** has repeatedly brushed off the issue with the finish of the driveway although from the email you can see he tiptoed around the issue and pushed it off to spring and then denied it. My issue is not over yellowing it is over the horrible spotted finish on the bottom half of my driveway that never had a spot on it, the only thing that was wrong was a divit from the moving company. The spots were on the top half of the driveway which immediately came off with the power washing and as previously stated *** said "this is a very clean driveway". I find it hard to believe that a "successful" business could be so shallow minded that that could have improperly installed a product or had a faulty product. I have power washed and sealed this driveway every two/three years and never had any sort or issue like this. The product that has been used is a concrete driveway specific sealer purchased from *** *** *** in *** **.As far as the other workers at our house making a statement like that is ridiculous as they would not jeopardize their jobs in that fashion.
Sincerely,
*** ***

Received notification yesterday.Original driveway installed 10-15 years ago by ACT.Customer called complaining of scratches on surface by moving company. Customer was told scratches were not problem, but maintenance was an issue. Ciustomer (or someone customer hired) had been applying a product...

that had been turning the driveway a yellow color. It appeared to be a curing compound that is not appropriate for the surface. Customer was offered a power wash and sealing contract for driveway. Sealing was the most necessary, as cracks and expansion joints were opening crevasses in the surface. Due to the yellowing of drive, a special ALMOND color caulk was obtained to match yellowing drive.Customer was informed at the time of limitations.      1) prior applications of sealer were not likely to be effected.      2) prior stains (oil. leaves, rust) were not likely to be effected.      3) Chemical sealer would dry clear and would seal all previous imperfection below.Multiple visits showed no unique coloring that were not visible before application.Last visit showed a track of 1" circles, approximately 6 feet long, heading from street up the drive. Knocked on door to discuss with Homeowner. We walked down to area of concern and expressed our thought that it looked like salt or dirt of some type of material that could be washed off. We were told that we full of [redacted], and that he was going to kick our [redacted]. We walked away. He followed us to the street and continued to threaten us in the street. We will not be back. We will not take responsibility for a 10-15 year old driveway that we power washed and sealed with a clear product.we were infirmed that this home owner did not pay for the sealing, but rather the moving company that "scratched the surface" paid for the effort. We were warned by painters and carpenters working inside the home to run. We knew we could not do any damage, but failed to heed their warnings. This customer/homeowner is not reasonable. We will offer them nothing. The Revdex.com needs to place them on a site for future reference.ACT has been in business for 32 years. I can count 4 customers Whom I could not make happy.  We can now make it 5.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Regardless of the number of years you do a job or what product you use it is sad that a so called "reputable businessman" would be so arrogant to think there could not have been a issue with a product or application. I doubt that in his X number of years, regardless of what that number is, doing business that he has never had any issues as he claims.  In addition to call a paying customer a whiner he must have forgotten where his livelihood comes from.  I have contacted the manufacturer of the product used to seal the driveway for an assessment.I believe ACT Concrete and [redacted] should be responsible for the cost of powerwashing and sealing the driveway due to the spotting issues.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
