anything but happier to get their dog home soonerI would also like to mention, this is the one and only complaint about a board n train client ever filed in close to years!I categorically deny their allegation in their desired settlement, as the training the dog received was clearly demonstrated to the owners in the following ways:the dog obeyed all commands for both owners, and myself repeatedly for about an hour and a half(this they describe as giving them a book, collar and leash, and being told now go train the dog"!)I demonstrated their dog sitting two feet away, with his back to a snarling,barking,growling pit bull, not once reacting or even looking over his shoulder at the dog.("no change"???) At this point at the owner and asked "mission accomplished?" to which the owner shrugged and became verbally abusiveAnother client came to the front gate, during the instruction, and the dog barked once, and stopped immediately on my command! btw the dog is a german shepherd!As far as the dogs health goes he was fine, and 30+ years our mist system has not caused any health issues.Attached is a copy of the front and back of the contractCircled parts added by me to highlight the issues in the complaint, showing:in bold caps, last line, above the signatures "NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON"top of agreement "unlimited instruction for the lifetime of the dog" I offered to meet them at a place of their choice for follow-up, more than once but they declinedI explain to everyone each paragraph of what they are signing, especially the paragraph on the back! "to never bark would be unrealistic, to stop when you tell him is realistic" as an examplethe necessity of 10-minutes of daily repetition for a week or two, and to call me with any problem.4.their "talking to company" dates were raging texts, first telling me to put the balance on their card at the kennel, then a text that she lost her card, and would give me the new one when she got itthen she changed her mind and wanted to send me a check, which she didn't until I told her when it would go to collection.In closing I explained to them, that it is for a dog to test the owner, and be inclined to revert to the behavioral pattern that he associates with the ownerThe dog is quickly convinced, when the techniques demonstrated to be effective, are properly applied by the owner I told them they could see the results anywhere they want in minutes, and be shown what they were doing differently from what I showed them and taught them,which has nothing to do with $!
After reading his response, I am just sick to my stomach, but I am not at all surprised He was dishonest from the start to finish, and he continues to lie regarding our unpleasant experience with him I have no reason to try to defend myself at this point All dog owners will know that it is not about the money; my dog is part of my family, and I was just trying to get him some good training We have now found a knowledgeable and ethical trainer, and believe me it is not free, but our dog is doing great I hope that anyone who considers going to a Canine Academy for training or boarding will consider going somewhere else, and just follow your gut feeling Thank you
the agreement clearly states "NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON" . I have never said anything untrue to them, or about their allegations. Their issue could have been resolved had they allowed me to assist them off site, in a matter of minutes, in accordance with our agreement that they would not allow me to fulfill. They not allowing me to resolve the complaint, is the only reason you call it unresolved.
