A Cheap Body Shop

Wow, awesome experience and great work. Steve was wonderful to work with and the quality of the repair is beyond what I could have imagined!

I called this place just to do a price comparison on a small paint-less dent repair the size of a nickel and I spoke with a gentleman who sharply snapped back with a a ridiculous price of $250! When I asked again for the price since I thought I may have misheard what he had said he replied. "You asked for a price, I would have to see it so I said $250." With a snarky tone of voice. I said thank you and hung up. A friendly voice goes a long way, sad to say I didn't even get that courtesy. I won't be taking my vehicle there.

I had a wonderful experience with A Cheap Body Shop. Steve was absolutely wonderful to deal with. When I first discovered it on Yelp (4.5 out of 5 stars), I called and left a message inquiring about a repair to my vehicle. I usually don't get a call back, especially not right away but, Steve called me back within a half hour and also gave me a rough estimate. He said he'd try to get me a bumper from a junk yard in order to save me money. Only a caring, independent business owner would take the time and effort to do that for their customer. After checking other businesses for estimates, A Cheap Body Shop easily offered the best price. Additionally - and surprisingly - my car was ready in two business days!!! That is not typical but, wow, how convenient. The other auto body repair shops told me there was a one-month waiting period and then at least two weeks to keep my car. Hopefully I won't need any more car repairs for a while but, if ever I do, A Cheap Body Shop is the first and only place I will call.

This company does not uphold their advertisement on their website of "I will BEAT your quote by a lot!" and "cheap repairs". Brought my car into them and was never given an actually broken down cost. The owner sent me texts saying there was more damage than previously seen and it would cost more. I said okay, but was never given an exact amount in writing. They had my car for 11 days! Then texted me with a price of well over my dealer quoted price, $1750. When I said something he dropped the price only $50.00 less than the dealer quoted price of $1650, but I had to pay for a rental for 6 more days. I expressed my disappointment to the owner and was basically told that it was fair even though I still had no written documentation showing this. My car has also been malfunctioning in the one light and the temperature gauge has been broken since picking it up from this shop. They say it has nothing to do with their work, however, it all worked when I brought it in. Customer service is inadequate and unprofessional
