In April/May, my husband and I made two visits to the daycare to see the facilitiesIn May, I wrote a deposit check, with the understanding that we would figure out a way for my kids to do a trial time at the daycare (I suggested day, but they don't allow that, so I offered to pay for days, and they told me that it would all depend on their availability)Regardless, we wrote the checkI emailed the director on several occasions asking either to set up these trial days or to return my deposit, and she never respondedApparently she left (later I found out that this company has had many director turnovers: 1st from a neighboring preschool 2nd from parents who came from the this daycare to the daycare where my kids currently go, and said that there was such mismanagement that they had to leave)In June, two months after I had written the check and had no response still, someone cashed the checkI called the corporate office, and the woman talked over me through the entire conversationI was trying to explain to her the situation, and she kept arguing with meFinally, I told her that I would not talk over her, and that maybe she should listen to the recording of our conversation so she could hear her customer service skillsI told the woman that I didn't even want the money back if they really feel like taking our money was a moral act, regardless of everything we had done to attempt to make this daycare workShe told me that with her experience (months of working there), she knew the policies, and this is how it would be handledShe assured me that she was trying to work with meShe hung up on meIn the end, I feel really happy that my kids are not going there - I mean, this is a place where parents should feel confident and comfortable with having their kids thereVery poor
