A Children's Garden

He was paid $750 per his contract to oversee construction of garden. He never was onsite to direct work resulting in damage and delay.

I engaged him to do a garden plan which I liked and paid for the plan. We agreed he would get subs to do the work. He never was onsite to direct the work and was not available by phone despite many attempts to reach him. This resulted in delay and damage.

I offered to cancel the contract and have him return $500 despite his never spending any time at the job site. He ignores all attempts at communication.

I received one email from him after I threatened to sue him in small claims court, something that goes against my grain. However, I have characterized him as a scammer. He did a nice plan which brought me to contract with him.

However, once he had the money, he disappeared from the jobsite.
