A Clarion Carriage House

I used a credit card to reserve a room on 8/17/2012. The hotel only had a Friday night (8/17/2012)I explained that I may be calling to cancel if I could find another hotel that had two nights (nights of 8/17 and 8/18/2012)The hotel reservations desk asked to send a confirmation email - I gave them my emailI called to cancel - they told me they had a cancellation policyThere was no prior discussion of a cancellation policy at the time of the original booking/holdThe second person I spoke to regarding the cancellation explained that it should have been in the emailI explained that I didnt recieved an email - it ended up being in my SPAM email which I didnt have access to until 8/20/2012I have left messages with the manager ([redacted] three times, messages left with various staff members in an attempt to resolve that matterI finally spoke with another manager ([redacted]) who said she would look into itI provided [redacted] via email a PDF copy of my SPAM emails which showed the emails the hotel had sent. I have requested a credit based on the circumstancesTo date, 8/22/2012 - the issue is unresolved, several hotel personel have said the manager is very busy dealing with the City of Del Mar and other issues
