Complaint: ***
I am
rejecting this response because:
First, a $store-credit is not acceptable because I will never bring any garments to that dry cleaning company againThey have not only recently broke a zipper off my suit pants, but they have previously destroyed the linings to two of my suit coatsMy garments are full of lint when picked up from their storeTheir quality of work is sub-parFurther, their level of customer service is unacceptable.Secondly, I did not "refuse to accept anything" as claimed in their responseI only declined the store-credit offerI was not offered a refund, which is what I want and is the only somewhat acceptable response.Regardless of their policies (which are absolutely ridiculous AND not easily noted by customers), this company needs to do the ethically correct thing and refund my money
Until this company refunds my money, I will continue to post negative reviews on a wide variety of consumer-review websites as I have been doing so since the incident occurredShould A+ Cleaners decide to make the right decision by refunding my money, I will retract any and all negative reviews I have postedIf not, the reviews will remain and the company will lose way more money by loss of future customersIt is in their best interest to simply refund my money, or pay for the zipper repair.Thank you for your assistance in this matter
Sincerely,

We are not responsible for the zipper. It clearly states on our policy board that we are not responsible for zippers and not responsible for orders that leave our store. We offered the customer a $10 dry cleaning credit but he did not want to accept anything.
It's been resolved. We found the customer's shirt and have contacted them directly.
I was unable to reach the customer by phone. She was very irrate and called the police. We had to ask her to leave. We did reach out again to her upon receipt of the Revdex.com letter. Her voice mail box is full. I can also try contacting her with the email on the letter or...
through USPS. All we can do is offer her the $11.00 store credit which is the cost of her cleaning. Her cleaning is ready at the location which she requested and just needs to be picked up by her.

He was missing a shirt and he picked one up last week. This was resolved, and he is fine.
I took my king sized comforter to the dry cleaners to get it cleaned. It is worth $235 and was purchased at the beginning of 2014. I have gotten it professionally cleaned before, without any issues. When I got it back from A+ Cleaners, a lot of the stitching had come out of the comforter. There were even some holes where the stitching had been that looked like the stitching had been ripped out of the fabric. When I approached the cleaners with the issue, they told me that it was from wear and tear and that the stitching was coming apart by itself. However, it was not like that before and it could not be from wear and tear because it is less than 6 months old. After talking with the owner twice, he finally told me that I needed to "open my eyes to what was in front of me" and to "accept reality." Not only was he rude and unhelpful, he did not fix the issue, made excuses, and ruined my expensive comforter. I would have been better off washing it in my own washer and dryer at home.Product_Or_Service: Dry Cleaning of a ComforterDesired SettlementI would like my comforter replaced. The damage is beyond repair. The cost of the exact same comforter is $235.00.Business Response We cleaned the comforter according to manufacturer suggested care and instruction. The assumed "rip" mentioned by the consumer are the stitching from the factory that holds the fillings. We cleaned the comforter, if the stitching comes out either from the age and wear of the comforter. If the consumer's claimed is true that it was purchased at the beginning of 2014, I believed she has all the right to talk to store she bought it from.We stand by our work and we cant compensate someone just because they believe they can. Its not a "RIP", theres not even half of an inch, its stitching thats falling apart and nothing to do with the cleanig process.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)There were no rips, tears, or holes before I took it to A+ Cleaners. It was in perfect condition before they cleaned it. I have pictures of the "the rip", if they need to see proof. Also, my claim IS true. I did purchase the comforter earlier this year. Wear and tear is not the issue here. The issue is that A+ Cleaners ruined my expensive comforter, made excuses, and was very rude to me in the process.
Review: I prepaid $50 for my daughter's dress to be altered because the lady at the [redacted] location charged me that. The seamstress called me and told me the bill came to $45. When I picked up the dress, I told the lady I was owed $5. She didn't believe me and didn't do anything to give me my $5 back. I just want my $5 back (and not a credit).Desired Settlement: I want my $5 back.
Business
