Hello, I've received your message regarding the complaint that I've filed and what I would like A Complete Move to do about our disputeDue to lack of planning on the company's part, I was forced to find additional men willing to help me move larger pieces of furniture that they refused to moveI had to pay the other movers $to get the pieces that should've been moved with the rest of my things under the agreed pricingI would like to be reimbursed for that $

We moved [redacted] on May 30th. The move was an issue from the time it was setup all the way through the end. At the time of the estimate [redacted] was estimated for 7 to 8 hours. [redacted] set the job up but seemed very tentative. She was asking question about what we're going to do when...

she cancels and will she be charged for any last minute cancellations. Because of these kinds of questions and the way she was acting we actually required her to mail in a $100 nonrefundable deposit, which we normally do not require. Since you could tell she was going to be a problem. The day before the move [redacted] called in and wanted to add on us moving her roommate also. [redacted] said it was only a desk, twin size bed, dresser and 10 boxes. We explained that was not an issue but obviously it would take longer than the original estimate. We even told her that if she keeps the first contract going it would save her and her roommate money as they could split the hour travel instead of each paying an hour travel on separate contracts. [redacted] said that was the way they wanted to handle the contract. On the moming of the move [redacted] told the movers when they showed up that she did not want to do one contract and that she wanted things split up into two separate deals. Which wasn't an issue on our part just the first of many issues. When doing the initial walk though of the place the movers seen [redacted] had a really big armoire that two guys can not move. They told her that piece was going to be an issue and that's when things really took a turn for the worse. [redacted] never mentioned during the estimate that she had an armoire that weighted 500 LBS, we would never send two guys out by themselves to move a piece like that. [redacted] said that was our problem and we need to figure it out. She ended up wanting us to send two more guys out but on that day we had no extra people. [redacted] was extremely rude and disrespectful on the phone with the owner of our company. At one point in time he even had to tell her to quit talking to him in such a way. She was cursing and talking down to both him and the movers non stop. When he told her to quit talking to everyone that way she said "I'll talk to you however the [redacted] I want to." Things moved forward and [redacted] ended up having her boyfriend and one of his friends help move the armoire. The movers got all of [redacted]'s items loaded up and took them to the storage. When we arrived at the storage we collected for 8 hours just like she was estimated. So I'm not sure where she is getting it was 3 times the amount she was estimated. The guys actually got the items unloaded faster than they expected, so we had to refund her a half an hour. We did not have exact change to refund her the $34 dollars so she told the guys to just give her a 50 and she would give them the difference. However, when we gave her back the 50 she put it in her pocket and told the movers she was not paying them any more money. So the difference ended up being $12 which she still has not paid. The owner told the movers to just forget about it and get away from the situation. We ended up not moving the roommate because it was [redacted]'s property and we were not willing to go back there after she did what she did and treated us the way she did. So all of [redacted]'s items that she wanted got moved. The person who suffered was [redacted]'s roommate. We ended up speaking with her and explaining what had happened. We told her the way [redacted] was speaking to us and treating us the roommate said that just [redacted] and that's how she treats everyone. The roommate was actually suppose to live there for a year but [redacted] kicked her out after 3 months. So in conclusion I don't understand anything [redacted] is talking about. She was the instigator and causing the issues on the phone. She didn't move from a condo to a house, she moved her stuff into a warehouse called new pros office space where she is storing it. We moved ALL of [redacted]'s items, it was her roommates items that didn't get moved. They were added on the day before and only because of the situation and [redacted] is the only reason those items didn't get moved. And the whole she was charged 3 times the amount she was estimated is just nuts. She was estimated 7 to 8 hours and as you can see on the copy of the contract she was charged for 7.5 hours and on top of that she still has not paid the final $12.Needless to say [redacted] has a special place in our system as we will never work for her again.Thank You,Office Manger,[redacted]

I paid for services not rendered. I contacted ([redacted]) at the company to move 1 piece of furniture from the 1st level to the 2nd and was told the charge would be 137.00. The 2 men showed up, assessed the piece of furniture and went to the room to where it was to be moved and at that time said they only accept cash, money orders or certified check, I was never told this at any time prior to 3/26/12. I then had to go to the bank and paid them 140.00 in cash. The movers "scooted" the furniture approx. 4 feet and then said they couldn't move it upstairs as it was "too tall". The workers knew the size of the piece, where it was going and at no point did they advise it was too tall or measure dimentions. Only after they were paid did they say they couldn't move it upstairs. I asked about getting a refund and they called ([redacted]) who refused to give me any money back. I called ([redacted])and during this call the workers got in their car and left in a hurry. ([redacted]) stated they "got out of bed to do a job" and I told him it wasn't done. I called ([redacted]) a few hours later to request a refund and he refused. Their ad from the ([redacted]) paper states "reasonable, reliable, free estimated, member of Revdex.com, no job too small."
