Review: Robert P[redacted] collected $536.00 for a chase cover. He came on 4 separate occasions to measure the chase. When the prefab fire place was finally installed, he was to have a chase cover made to order. He said it would be done in approximately 2-3 days. The work was started in early May. By the end of the month the cover was not installed. He promised to be there that week (week after Memorial Day weekend). By June ** he still had not finished the job and would not respond to any communications. He would not complete the job, he will not return the money for the chase cover and he will not reply to any communications or solutions to solve the issue.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the product he was paid for. ($536.00)I have another company to complete the job, they are going to inspect his work.If they find his work to be sub-standard, I want him to be responsible for anyremedies they may have to impose. (He offers on his website a "30 year warranty on his work"). If the next contractor feels satisfied with the work done, I obviously will not desire anymorethan my money back for the product he never installed.
