Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: I am writing this on behalf of T [redacted] 's fatherJust to give little back groundWhen T [redacted] 's car was stranded and towed and taken into the garage, she was extremely nervous as she has just joined a work place and she was more concerned about her job and she was in distressShe also does not have any knowledge or clue about car repair and she had never faced a situation like thisThe car really didn't have any faultThere was no need of taking the car into the garage in the first placeThe car was in the running conditionAt that time, whatever was told to T [redacted] , she had to believe and trust the repair shopThere was no need of any diagnosis in the first placeNormally, as with most of the garages, when they run a diagnosis, they either adjust the charge of diagnosis with the subsequent billing or at least some part of it is adjustedShe was subsequently charged another huge sum which perhaps was completely unnecessary and rates that were charged was exorbitantThere was hardly any material or parts used in the subsequent billingTo T [redacted] , she never understood what she is being charged for as she just is not technically or otherwise knowledgeable and she wanted the car back as that car is her only means of transport to her new jobA completely helpless situationShe ended up paying $ which was not necessary except for the oil change which costs $ She was not given any credit for the diagnostic they charged forShe ended up paying over $ on a service on which hardly any parts were used and on a job which could not have taken more than one hour as there was no problem and atleast they could not find any problem eitherWe feel given T [redacted] 's helpless situation, the garage took an advantage and stiffed her with a huge bill which she can barely afford as her hourly rate is $ to $ per hour Regards, P [redacted] ***, on behalf of T [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because: I am writing this on behalf of T[redacted]'s father. Just to give little back ground. She also does not have any knowledge or clue about car repair and she had never faced a situation like this. The car really didn't have any fault. There was no need of taking the car into the garage in the first place. The car was in the running condition. A completely helpless situation. She ended up paying $ 270 which was not necessary except for the oil change which costs $ 30. She was not given any credit for the diagnostic they charged for. She ended up paying over $ 270 on a service on which  hardly any parts were used and on a job which could not have taken more than one hour as there was no problem and atleast they could not find any problem either. We feel given  T[redacted]'s helpless situation, the garage took an advantage and stiffed her with a huge bill which she can barely afford as her hourly rate is $ 10 to $ 11 per hour.

ON 5/4/2016 Mis B[redacted] had her car towed into shop. She was Given a est. of $115.59 For Diagnosing her 2001 Toyota. at witch time she signed. We proceeded to do Diagnoses on her car by Road test scanning computer and check  as needed.  we did not experience stalling on road test....

We did note on arrival car was 2 1/2 qts low on oil. We also did fuel trim test and inspected throttle body. Fuel trim was out of range and throttle body was very dirty.  at that time we contacted. Mis. B[redacted] and advised her of our recommenations.  check oil and oil filter, service throttle body and fuel injection service.  She was called and advised of additional charges of $161.23 for a total of $267.17. that was 5/4/2016 @ 11:18am called  and she oked additional repairs and it was documented on Repair order. Mis B[redacted] was advised at all times of needed repairs.  I am Sorry if there was any misunderstanding on there Fathers part be we did followed all BAR regulations. and provided the best of service to Mis Battacharjee. I beleave there is no refund warranted. All services where completed as authorized

I had the WORST experience dealing with the owner Mark D[redacted]. He cheated me out of at least $1200 telling me my engine needed to be replaced and claimed he did extra work on my Mazda 626 which was unnecessary. At the time I was in the military and was home visiting trying to get my vehicle fixed and running. He must have bad nerves cause when I confronted him his hands started shaking as he gave me a print out of all the work he claimed he did and said he didn't want any trouble! The guys is dishonest & a snake!
