Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint I understand there is a one year warranty but how am I as the owner of the house suppose to know there was a 9in in diameter piece of particle board in my furnace? The particle board is from a cut that the Arlinghaus heating and air made for the 8in or so duck work that goes up to the ceiling from the floor level to the upper level of my houseNo matter how much this company says that are not liable I believe that they are They should honor my request and stop placing the blame on other companies or contractors I have not had any service work done since I have been at my residence but as the years went on it just seemed something wasn't right when the air conditioner couldn't keep up and here we thought it was because of the high humidity that was outside This summer has been the worse and it came to a head when our system froze up If I knew to take the panel off my furnace the first year to check for foreign objects don't you think I would have? [redacted] stated in a phone conversation that his company didn't make round cuts in my house when he reviewed the paper word for my houseHe said they only make rectangular cuts and when I got home for the evening I took pictures of the two places that have round cuts in my house When I called him to let him know he was wrong he then proceeded to say he never made that statement Back paddling again is what he was doing which was an on going conversation with him This company is trying to make it out that they could never be at fault and they are trying to have a warranty company pay for what their employees did What kind of company does this? One that doesn't care about their past customers or about the work that they do.I called the warranty company and they don't cover the cost of the freon which is in the cost I paid out of $I could be asking Arlinghaus to be paying for my medical bills for the mold that was blowing through my house which made me sick All I ask was that they pay me back the $175.I also left messages with ***, [redacted] and [redacted] at this company to have [redacted] to contact me and he still hasn't returned my call Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  I understand there is a one year warranty but how am I as the owner of the house suppose to know there was a 9in in diameter piece of particle board in my furnace?  The particle board is from a cut that the Arlinghaus heating and air made for the 8in or so duck work that goes up to the ceiling from the floor level to the upper level of my house. No matter how much this company says that are not liable I believe that they are.  They should honor my request and stop placing the blame on other companies or contractors.  I have not had any service work done since I have been at my residence but as the years went on it just seemed something wasn't right when the air conditioner couldn't keep up and here we thought it was because of the high humidity that was outside.  This summer has been the worse and it came to a head when our system froze up.  If I knew to take the panel off my furnace the first year to check for foreign objects don't you think I would have? [redacted] stated in a phone conversation that his company didn't make round cuts in my house when he reviewed the paper word for my house. On 9/8/16 customer contact Arlinghaus Heating and Air Conditioning due to home not cooling.  A service technician was dispatched to customer on that date.  After doing an inspection of the system he found that the Heat Pump compressor was not working.  The system was approximately 14...

years old.  Technician discussed repair and replacement options.  The customer choose to do a replacement, but not a completed replacement.  The customer requested a quote only on the Heat Pump.  The wanted to leave the existing 14 year old Air Handler.A like for like size quote was provide to the customer.  The customer requested a price match from a bid they received from another company and we match quoted price.Heat Pump was installed on 9/14/16.  Customer signed completion certificate and a non complete system waiver (see attached). On 10/26/17 customer contacted us due to home not heating.  A service technician was dispatched to customer on that date.  After doing an inspection of the system we found that the Air Handler had bad contactor, a blower capacitor that failed factory tolerance range, and system that needed an over all tune up based on it condition.  Customer choose only to replace contactor and waived other recommendations.  On 10/27/17 customer contacted us due to home not heating.  A service technician was dispatched to customer on that date.  After doing an inspection of the system we found that the Air Handler's blower capacitor had failed.  A blower capacitor was needed and still a tune up was recommended.  Customer choose only to replace blower capacitor.  Arlinghaus Heating and Air Conditioning waived the service call fee and discounted  the blower capacitor. On 11/16/17 customer contact us due to system making noise.  A service technician was dispatched to customer on that date.  After doing an inspection of the system we found the contactor was chattering.  This was caused by the Heat Pump and Heat strips from the Air Handler running at the same time.  The Heat strips in the original Air Handler were oversized for the current application.  Our technician turned off the unnecessary strips.  In addition the set screw to the blower wheel on the Air Handler was not fasten properly on the motor shaft.  The customer advised our technician that he had tried to clean blower wheel himself.   Arlinghaus never in any of the past service calls had preformed service on the blower wheel.  We provided the customer a quote to replace the blower wheel and motor that was damaged due to customer attempt to clean himself.  Arlinghaus did not charge for this service call or work to the heat strips. We have provide customer with quotes to repair and offered to give quote to replace 14 year old Air Handler.  The issues the 14 year old Air Handler is having has nothing to do with installation error of the customers Heat Pump. Please contact me with any questions.Dan S[redacted]General Manager
