message with call back times and extension*** called back and said she will be on vacation so Mediator will have to reach her later10/30/17- Called and told that *** is still out of townLeft message with callback times and extensionAsked *** to call back when she is in town11/1/17- Called and talked to ***, who *** said would be contactThey ordered LED light tubes for cheaper because we were running a rebate program with ***They didn't work with the ballastsThey brought them back on Friday at PM, the last day of the program even though we had told them we needed them by Monday so we could file a reverse rebateWe charged them a restocking fee because they were not brought back in their sleeves and no one would've bought them like thatShe bought them on the 3rd of April and that's when we filed the rebateWe tried to contact her for months after she said they didn't work and she would say she was too busy to bring them inI know I personally left her two messages, but the guy that sold them isn't working here any moreShe ended up keeping all the fixtures because she didn't want to pay the restocking feeWe're not going to refund them because we would lose $6/lamp with the rebate and the program is over nowShe made numerous complaints to *** and their rep told us that they've bent over backwards trying to help them but she isn't accepting any solutionWe will not give a refund.---Mediator tried to call back but *** was at lunch**After call with Consumer** No we're still not giving her a refundI will let *** know that it's closing

9/27/17- Mediator left message with Consumer through office receptionistGave Consumer number and available times for call back10/2/17- Mediator left message with Consumer over voicemailGave Consumer number and available times for call backVoicemail said the business is open W-S 10-10/4/17- Mediator left message with receptionistReceptionist said *** would be in in minutesGave receptionist call back number and times.10/6/17- Mediator got receptionistReceptionist said *** will be in on Monday at PM10/9/17- Mediator left message over voicemail with number and call back time for WednesdayTold Consumer that Mediator needs a reply by Wednesday or the complaint will be closed10/10/17- (Consumer left message for mediator) I am not available while mediator is there.My cell phone number is ***10/11/17- Mediation department emailed consumer for update.10/11/17-You are correct, we have not received a refund from A&D Electric, and we would still love to get a refund from them.Thank you so much!11/1/17- We got them the bulbs back when they wanted and they were in perfect packaging--the packaging that they came inThey told us the time to bring them in and that's when we did, but I don't have any proof of when that wasI bought them on March 31stWe told them that only worked out of the hundreds that we boughtWe told the guy on the phone that we were going to keep those and he said that was fine, but that made them angryWe even called them beforehand to make sure they'd work with our fixturesMy dad is an electrician and it took him 2-hours to install themThey said we would have to buy ballasts to make them work in our fixtures, but we're a small non-profit so we don't have the money for that*** had to contact them to tell them to offer us the ballastsAs far as a resolution, I don't knowI want the money back but they said they aren't going to give itI don't want to return the bulbs because they're just going to sell them for $or whatever nowI will try and see if I can get a refund through *** since it was there program*Notified that the complaint with A&D will be closing because the business doesn't want to do a refund and she doesn't want to return them

I am rejecting this response because: We brought back the lamps, packaged as they asked, and they were going to charge us $25 restocking fee. We told the sales person on the phone that we had 4 of the bulbs, because only 4 of the bulbs worked with our fixtures. The sales person did not notify us that they would charge us a largely increased price for those 4 bulbs, or we could have sent those back as well. We brought the bulbs back BEFORE the end of May. But they refused to give us a full refund.  The sales person said these bulbs would work with our fixtures, and they did not point out any list on their counter.

They purchased the lamps and there was a list of ballasts on the counter that they would work with. My guy at the counter may not have mentioned this but we are one of [redacted] top trade allies. We have sold a million of these lamps and have had no problems. We did offer the money back...

if the items were returned in the original packaging but they refused to do so. [redacted] called because of the complaint and I explained the situation. [redacted] said we did not have to but we even offered the ballasts for the price that we would pay which is $9 each. They refused this deal as well saying we should give them the ballasts for free. The reason there was a deadline for the end of May is because the program ended then and I would not be able to take them back after that. They wanted to keep a few but because of the program I could not sell them at the same price. I complied with what [redacted] asked me to do and what they program allowed.
