I did call the contractor several times between June and Feb to return to reconnect the gutters that were separated due to painting in the front of the house I had to have them return several times to redo painting which was still done poorly I recall that the contractor told my mother that the area around the chimney would need to be redone as it had become separated from the roof and could cause the leaking Because there was significant water on the floor we had wiped it up instead of letting it there for days/weeks before we had someone look in the attic When I called the contractor I was told that he would return to finish the work but never came back especially when it came to the gutters in the front of the house I tried to fix them myself as they were separated and I was tired of waiting I didn't have the appropriate latter to reach the height and the gutters so I had to let them go Then I purchased a taller latter and my brother attempted to pound the gutters back into the house The nails that hold the gutters into the house were never pounded back in and therefore has caused leaking from the separation As for the chimney, like I mentioned above, I was told that the contractor explained that he would do the work that it would cost $to fix it as it was no longer under warranty I would like partial reimbursement for the poor job done with the painting and from the separation of the gutters

the customer that her chimney was in a deployed state and need replaced or repaired, she told me that she didn’t have the money to do it right now. The gutters and downs were replaced were they were originally seeing how they were never removed from the home and as for the down spouts there was never any reason to remove them seeing how there was no painting done on the brick behind them. Now in saying all this the mother of the customer did contact me in June of 2012 and said something about the rain coming down behind the gutter on the front porch and coming out of the down spout on the right side of the home in the back. Both of these problems were coitected in June and the mother and brother both looked at the work that was done and was happy with it. The customer called me again on the 27th of February of 2014
and said that the gutters were leaking again between the gutters and wood, this is the only time she has contacted me about this, since June of 2012. If they were still leaking after June of 2012 she never contacted me about the problem until February of 2014. I would have to say that the gutters are leaking again because of the heavy snow and ice on them from the winter weather, which has nothing to do with the work that I have done. Any insurance company or contractor would tell you this is the case with every bad winter. In concern with the roof leaking I did go to the customer’s home in late December of 2013 because the brother called the and said there was a leak around the chimney. When I went I didn’t see any leaks anywhere and he informed me that it was lealdng the day before, but I didn’t see any wet spots on the ceiling and the bucket he had there had no water in it. There was a little bit of water on the floor but that was it, the ceiling was not wet anywhere that I could see of. When I did the roof I checked the inside of the house to see where the water at that time was coming in and one of the spots that they showed me at that time was the same spot they said was leaking this time. When I went over in late December there was between 8 and 12 inches of snow on the roof and I could not get on the roof to see if there was a problem. I believe that if the roof was leaking the day
before than it should have still been leaking the next day or still wet. She made a statement that she had other contractors look at the ceiling in the attic and they said that the chimney was not done correctly and not done to code, I cannot see how they could come to this conclusion without looking at the chimney and roof first. Also when I first met the customer she was complaining to me about all the other contractors that she had do work on her home and how none of them did the jobs right. I have no problem of fixing anything that was not done correctly by my company, but I refuse to fix things, that were caused by no fault of mine. I feel that these problems she is having is due to the bad winter that we have had this season. If any questions please feel free to call Respectfully [redacted]

Review: In 2012, I contracted A & D remodeling company to paint the exterior of my residence at [redacted]. I agreed to pay $1400 for the job which I thought was high but agreed to it since [redacted] (owner of A & D remodeling) stated that his company had done painting jobs in the past. During painting the guys pulled the rain spouts and gutters away from the house in order to paint however they never put the rain spouts back into their original position and now water drips down between the rain spouts and the wood on the side and front of the house causing erosion from the water. I and my mother have tried on numerous occasions to contact [redacted] who refuses to return our calls. I am requesting that Revdex.com contact [redacted] requesting that he fix the rain spouts and return them to their original positions at no charge to me. If he refuses then I request that Revdex.com advise what legal steps I can take to obtain reimbursement and compensation from A & D remodeling. In addition, we also paid A & D remodeling to fix the roof which had shingles blown off from severe wind and to seal the chimney. Late last year the seal around the chimney had become loose and started to leak. My mother called [redacted], he came out and said that he could not fix the seal until the spring and would charge use $35 since the "warranty" which [redacted] advised was a 1 year warranty. Subsequently, my attic has been leaking from the seal around the chimney. I have had other contractors look at the attic ceiling which the contractors claim the work was not done correctly, that the seal around the chimney was not done to code and that possibly will cost me hundreds if not thousands to get fixed.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that Revdex.com contact [redacted] requesting that he fix the rain spouts and return them to their original positions at no charge to me. Also, I would like the chimney fixed if he refuses then I request that Revdex.com advise what legal steps I can take to obtain reimbursement and compensation from A & D remodeling.
