To Whom this may concern:
I am the owner of
A Day in the Life. My experience with this customer was very unpleasant. When initially talking to this person I tried to help her by trying to understand what exactly her problem with our product was, even down to offering her a free workshop which normally is a $workshop. I told her that I would be willing to return unopened product and product that was malfunctioning, which I have never had a problem with in the past year of being in business. She insulted me many times verbally calling me "stupid," a "liar", and other inappropriate things. She then proceeded to contact my corporate office who also tried to help her and recognize what the problem exactly was with our product and it was still unclear. After all of this she came into my husband, and my store and demanded a refund on what I kindly already told her that I would refund her for. She continued to insult us verbally in our own store, calling both of us "liars", and repeatedly telling my husband to "shut his mouth and stop talking" when we were trying to refund her money for the items specified. This store policy is in fact posted twice in the store completely legible. It was suggested to me that I check to make sure that this woman was not committing credit card fraud as she used different credit cards from to different credit card companies, and then when trying to refund her she was demanding cash instead of, like most stores, you would refund back to the original card that the customer used during the actual transaction. I then checked my reports and realized that both credit cards the customer used FAILED and the amount in which should have been deposited into my business account was off in the exact amount in which she owed. This customer ended up receiving $in free product from our small business and is still trying to collect a refund in the same amount for product she DID NOT EVEN PAY FOR. She then continues making complaints on our store

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Their response just proves that they are not telling the truth. I spoke with my bank at 9:41 am today to file dispute on my purchases using 2 cards from the same bank. The disputes have been filed today at 9:41 am. Banks only are able to process disputes if transactions actually posted meaning my bank has paid both transactions on both my cards. My bank probably has contacted their bank about dispute. Their bank then probably took the money back from their account until dispute processing is done. It is really funny how they chose to respond today after I filed disputes with my bank. They were made aware of this Revdex.com complaint Friday 10/31/2014. And both card payments posted middle of October 2014. And now they are saying that my bank did not pay the transactions? Transactions posted middle of October, I was at their store two weeks later trying to return products. Why not take back the products then instead of telling me to gather the products I am returning and leave their store. If my bank did not pay, then they should have seized the products at the time I was doing mg returns. What a sad way to run a business, having to resort to telling lies for $300.

And a complete lie that they are stating they have return policies posted on their store. Really dishonest people.

As for free products, I was in their store to return unopened can of paint and defective brushes and they kicked me out of their store when I told them that they need to have "all sales final" sign in their store. I reached out to them once via phone 10/4/2014 about defective products and again on 10/30/2014 when I walked into their store to return the products. But after two times of reaching out to them, I just had to file for purchases dispute with my bank.

Obviously people cannot deal with these DISHONEST business people. I will let my bank deal with this dispute.
Regards,
[redacted]

Review: Purchased $300 worth of chalk paint and supplies three weeks ago. Charcoal paint didn't stay on furniture with all the hues described for that color. Contacted retailer about return policy since I forgot to ask when I purchased and no return policy stated on the electronic receipt they provided me. I was told by [redacted] that they cannot return opened cans of paint but will return the brushes and one unopened can I have. So we agreed I will stop by store within two hours of that phone call.[redacted] called me back and asked me again if I am drying between coats. I contacted the paint distributor headquarters and was told that headquarters will contact the the retailer. That was two weeks ago.I contacted headquarters again today and was told that headquarters indeed spoke with retailer and retailer told headquarters that retailer will contact me to resolve issue. When told that retailer has not contacted me, Headquarters told me to go ahead and touch base with store.I walked in the store and stated that I needed to return. They asked my name and then recognized my name when I provided it and right away both [redacted] and [redacted] were on the attack mode even going as far as saying that when trying a new product not to go ahead and buy in bulk like I did. When I told [redacted], he doesn't have to be all mean, He said for me to collect my things and leave the store. I collected all of my original $300+ paint/brushes purchase from their store and walked out of their storeOrganic brushes keep shedding even after 6 washings and 6 times of conditioning by hand. Synthetic brushes' bristles clump up on the sides during painting. I bought 3 organic brushes and 2 synthetic brushes which I need to return and 1 sealed/unopened can of paint that I need to return.Desired Settlement: Refund for entire purchase including opened cans of paint and wax since no store policies stated upfront or displayed upfront before and after purchase.
