A Do Hair Design

I have been a patron of A Do Hair Design for years, and it was for the services of a particular stylistShe was always professional with me, but it was not always the case with management and front desk who could be rude at times and inaccurately charged me, which were never rectified simply because I did not catch it until much later and I let it goI continued to be a patron because of the service I recieved from my stylistShe at some point decided to pursue her career at a different location and I recieved a phone call with a from a front desk associate rambling almost incoherently about how they dont know if this employee/stylist still works there, that she has said she wont be in that day and that I needed to reschedule my appt with a different stylistFor the record I would not have minded booking with someone else if absolutely necessary due to illness, emergency, etc I did at first rebook for that day with a different stylist but honestly it just did not at all sit well with me that way they were speaking so negatively of the employee/stylist who was leavingI called them back to say you shouldnt speak about someone and that in my many years of experience it was no longer legal to speak this way about a former or current employee The associate I spoke with was the original associate I spoke with and she continued to be clueless about what I meant, so I asked to speak with mgmt and she had owner call meShe was worse in her attitude and speech concerning the employee/stylistObviously the associate was taking her cues from the owner which is shocking and quite frighteningI was trying to give her a heads up, because I believed the former employee/stylist could take legal action against her and I wanted to be fair to both sidesI assumed she was unaware of how the front desk associate was speaking of former employeeI then told the owner I would be telling the former employee/stylist how they spoke so negatively about her over the phone with me and that I would be cancelling the appt I had made with the alternative stylist This behavior is extremely unprofessional and could result in legal action for slander and/or defammation of characterI have no ties to former employee/stylist other than services rendered which I love and has always displayed a professional attitude towards me and her place of employmentShe did contact me that day and it had been her plan and I of course relayed what had transpired earlier, and I also expressed my relief and joy she contacted me to continue to have me as her clientShe was so remorseful and embarrassed as to how things had transpired, as she was not expecting the negative reaction to the degree that she did from owner upon her resignation
