A Doctors Shoe Store Reviews (1)
I had surgery on my left foot in 11/18/11 to remove [redacted] that had harden (the shot was not given at this office). I was in much pain and was referred to Dr. [redacted] by my parents who were long standing patients. They reception/medical assistant woman insisted that I needed to put $600 dollars down to have it removed even though I have two very good insurances ([redacted] and [redacted] prime). She stated that when my insurance paid them I would get a refund if they was no owing. I called monthly and was told that my insurance did not cover. After a few months I called my insurance and found out they were never billed (either of them). When I called the Dr.'s office I found out that the front lady was fired and they would not tell me why. They then billed my insurance almost a year later. Both insurance deemed what they billed was too high. [redacted] did pay and both insurances said I owed nothing. I have the explanations from insurances if needed. They also said I should of not paid a dime! I have tried over twenty times to get my money back and they will not talk or refuse to answer and are rude. They also tried to re bill my insurances under something different after it had already been a year and were denied due to it being over a year old. I am outraged. I am out 600 dollars! They should of never charged me money and are getting away with it. It is fraud.
