Dish Network tech came to install Dish at my house. My brother was home when they came. He had the tech call me because she had a question. She inquired about where to put the dish and I told her she could install it on the roof where she could get good reception. She then called back and said that my cable needed to be replaced because ours would not handle satellite. She told me that she would need to drill a hole to get the cable in. I told her that was fine as I understood at some point the cable would need to get into the house. She did not tell me that she would run over 50 feet of black cable ON THE OUTSIDE OF MY TAN SIDING, screw it to my siding and then drill holes outside my living room and bedroom to get the cable in. She left the cables on the S end of the house and all of the connectors exposed. A 2nd tech came out and saw her work and indicated it was not standard installation. She did nothing to make the cables hidden or put a box or anything around the cables. We called them and they sent a letter denying our damage claim stating we approved the installation even after another tech left notes on our account stating the installation was not standard.
