H I have read the complaint but it makes no reference to the shipment (pro) numberAs a company we handle 10,shipments per day and without a tracking number I do not have visibility to the shipment detailsIf the shipment number is provided I can then review and respondthank you

The freight charges in question of $239.12 have been cancelled and the customer will no longer be contacted for payment. We apologize for the delivery issue but by law, carriers are not responsible for special and consequential damages which is the claim that is being made (The request for $5000 in...

reimbursement). The Carmack Amendment Preempts State Law Claims - The Carmack Amendment is presently codified at 49 U.S.C. Section 14706 et seq. 49 U.S. Code § 14706 - Liability of carriers under receipts and bills of lading states in part "...That carrier and any other carrier that delivers the property and is providing transportation or service ... are liable to the person entitled to recover under the receipt or bill of lading. The liability imposed under this paragraph is for the actual loss or injury to the property..." In this case, there was no damage to the property in question and it was returned to the shipper. thank you

Hi Eddie, I am sorry to hear that you had a missed pick up. You are absolutely correct that any missed pick up should be treated with the up most respect and we make a point to teach that throughout our company. I am sorry that you were treated this way it is not correct and will be corrected....

Unfortunately missed pickups do happen in our business, however the service should be nothing less that respectful and timely to resolve the issue. We will work hard to gain back your trust.

We have spoken to the Customer and Resolved the issue. The complaint can be closed. Thank you

We reached out for [redacted] to discuss the issue with this missed pick up and we are awaiting a return call. We spoke with the customer service representative who advised she was trying to be professional and was simply trying to convey to the customer the reason the freight could not be picked up...

at that time of day. We apologize if the customer feels the situation was not properly handled and we have counseled the employee to try to understand the customers frustration and the need to be more professional.
