Mechanic worked on rebuilding motor in car took money from the beginning to buy parts I ifeel any legal shop doesnt collect money in advance. He promise me a date of one week completion of the work performed to the car. He then took a total of three weeks to do a one week job according to what he promise d me. His word as a individual is no good. He told me to call him about my car Thursday I called him and he said it wasn't ready. I have been paying for a ride to work and ask him if he at least have loaner car that I can use since its taking longer than he expected. He said yes he had a car to come by after work to pick it up. I went by after work and he gave me a car to drive with the registration and the inspection expired. When I realized the tags were out I had filled the car up with fifty dollars worth gas. I took the car back on Friday for the mechanic to tell me he would get the car inspection and the registration s fixed. I called him and he told me that he couldn't get the car to pass inspection. So the following Monday he said he would ave it ready so it wasn't once again. Tuesday he said he would call me by noon so I waited to one o'clock then called him for him to tell me again it wasn't ready it would be ready when I get off work. I went over there when I got off and I spoke with him about testing drivingthe car until Saturday and I would return Saturday to pay the remainder off the invoice I called Saturday morning to speak with him didn't receive an answer. So, I decided to go home and still haven't heard from him. Since then my car is with another mechanic it has two water leaks on the motor, an air leak, and it now has a problem with the power steering pump which he claim he replaced. When I picjed my car up from him he asked me to sign that I would come back I did sign, but what hurt me is he did verbal warranty of three months that not good. I dont even teust him to work on my car eveever again so I have it with another mechanic. I don't recommend his service to anyone.
