Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: I was not told that the drawing was the sole indicator of the measurements for the drapes, or I would have made sure that the information on the drawing was correctI told J* *** what I wanted with words, and his drape maker P*** also, at the same time** was either not paying attention to me or did not understand what I was telling himP*** does not speak English, and I was not told that on the day I met with her and **, nor did he communicate to her, what I wantedBoth times when I met with ** nd P*** together, he was interrupted by other employees and numerous phone calls during our discussions as to what I wanted doneI have to think this is why he did not GET the information correct both the first and second times we metYes, I have picked the drapes up, and no, they are not to my specifications, even with what ** wrote on the amendments to the first drawingThey are too wide and not the length I wantedBut no matter, I paid for them and will fix them myself
Regards,
H*** ***

H[redacted] Ordered custom drapes based on her own measurements and with her own drawing, please see attached. Customer was quoted 2-3 weeks to make the custom draperies and received the custom draperies in 2-3 weeks.
H[redacted] made an error on her own drawing, we remade the...

drapes for FREE to her own changed measurements.  Customer was quoted 2-3 weeks to remake the custom draperies and the customer received the drapes in 2-3 weeks. Heidi made her own mistake, but thankfully we kept her own drawing with her own handwritten measurements as proof of her own errors.

Review: On June 19th, I spoke to JC about repairing my leather sofa. He quoted me $300 and said that they've been in business for over 40 years and have never charged over $400 even if the entire sofa needed repair. Our sofa only had peeling on a couple cushions. He said not to worry because they have 100's of different colors of brown leather IN STOCK and would have no problem delivering the sofa back to me within 7-10 days. I said I definitely needed it back before the 4th of July and he said absolutely no problem. The next day they picked up the sofa and my $150 deposit and left me a written quote of $300 with the $150 balance + $39 fuel surcharge due on delivery. I waited 13 days before calling THEM back. JC had to check into it and then called to tell me that they haven't been able to work on the sofa AT ALL because they don't have matching fabric and furthermore it was now going to cost me over $500.... and would I like him to now order the fabric!?! I said that wasn't at all what was promised...and that I just wanted my sofa and deposit back before the 4th of July. He said he couldn't do that and THEN said that the sofa had been stripped (which would be odd if they didn't have any fabric to replace it) and he would not be able to deliver the sofa by the 4th but could possibly deliver it by the 5th if I was okay with fabric would definitely NOT MATCH. I said NO and asked to speak with a manager. He said that Robert Robles would call me back but was out today. I then called back and spoke with the secretary who said she would page Robert. Robert did not call but a girl named Elaine did call me back. I explained what happened and she seemed appalled but said she wasn't in position to help me. Again she said I needed to speak with Robert.Desired Settlement: My Sofa to be delivered by the 4th of July with matching leather as promised OR my sofa to be delivered by the 4th of July with my old leather and my $150 deposit refunded immediately.

Response:

Agreed.

We are happy to put your sofa back the way it was and refund your money immediately.

Review: Although this easily could be about the abysmal, and abusive customer service, this complaint is about fraud. I asked them to restore the leather on my leather sofa. The invoice clearly states "leather restoration". When my sofa was returned, although it ( what I thought was the leather) looked cheap and the workmanship poor, I made the mistake of accepting it. When a hole was made in the "leather" a few months later, I wondered how leather-even cheap leather, could be so easily torn. Not being an expert, I called the company to inquire about fixing it, asking if leather would tear so easily. I was told it would be fixed for free. 10 days after they picked up my sofa for repair,I called to see what was going on. I spoke to Jacee Sterlin who assured me the work would be done that day. I asked (not for the first time) if it was actual leather and he assured me it was. Several hours later I received a very abusive phone call from jacee telling me he wouldn't fix it because an animal made the hole. He said of course it was vinyl and there was nothing he could do-the warranty was not valid for animal damage. Ok-cussing on both sides, he hung up on me (after calling me an f-ing bh). My husband called back ( we wanted the sofa back, at least) jacee told my husband I had asked for vinyl, not leather, and he also said he recorded all conversations-isn't that illegal? If so, he'd have proof he told me leather. Anyway- I did finally get my sofa back-in the same condition. But now my leather sofa is half vinyl.Desired Settlement: I want the $495 I paid for "leather restoration" I won't even ask to be reimbursed delivery charges. Had I checked YELP.com, I would have been smart enough to steer clear of this company
