Once again, the customer has come up with even more to be wrong The following is the direct quote from my website, and has been for the last years in exactly the same place - right before you can check out By ordering you agree to allow us to do an arrangement of our choice to this value if we do not have the exact or even similar flowers or containerIf the delivery date is 2-weeks in advance we can get specialty items in for deliveryThe customer’s complaints in the initial letter were as follows: We did not send a stuffed animal The arrangment she received (she said was a) $value and not of equal value to what she ordered My letter dated February addressed both of those concerns and demonstrated that she actually received more than what she paid for.I have been in this industry for years, as a member in good standing with the Society of American Florists and Teleflora And I will continue to be Sincerely, [redacted] Owner

She then said that she was unhappy because the floral (of which the recipient had sent a picture) did not look anything like the picture she ordered I reminded her that before you can check out on my website it says, by ordering you are allowing substitutions of equal value if we do not have what you ordered She became argumentative and told me it did not say that, that it said it would be similarI once again repeated what it said, adding unless you are ordering 2-weeks in advance She obviously took the time she was arguing with me to look up the website, because then she changed to - well it looks like “crap” I said what do you want me to do to resolve this, would you like me to pick it up? To which she replied in a very angry tone, no I do not want you to pick it up, it looks like crap! I once again offered to pick it up she refused again and interrupted me with the same statement as above The situation could have been resolved right then I would have sent something else or refunded her money I realized at this time that there was nothing I could do to resolve this matter as her anger appeared to be escalating I simply stated I haven’t been in business for years by sending out “crap.” and hung up the phoneShe is demanding full refund or another arrangement, at no point ever willing to give up the original arrangement, this is unreasonableNo other retailer in the world allows you a refund or an exchange without returning the original item I think her desired settlement is unreasonable and far passed the time to get my flowers back in reasonable selling shape She claims to know the floral I sent was a $arrangement, this is how that breaks down: Container $Sfee (tape, card pick, card, envelope) $dendrobium orchids @ $cushion mum @ $heather @$Greenery @$Total $(divide by 80% in order to get 20% labor) Total value $55.93She received: Bear $Floral $Delivery $Tax $$85.17She ordered: Bear $Floral $Delivery $Tax Total spent $76.61Please feel free to look up my website and see the disclaimer that I referred to in this letter at: afreshattitudefloral.comI feel I took reasonable steps to resolve this matter from the beginning.Sincerely, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I am not satisfied with the outcome and I obviously don't have my own "company Lawyer" I never lied on social media or on the Revdex.com my statements are the same. I just thought the whole situation was bad. I felt and still feel as though I did not get my money's worth. Also she was the one who got irate when I called there is a similar complaint on *** for the same business and the same lady. I have already covered over and over again on my end how things came about she never offered anything other than rudely and angrily offering to take them back and in response I said no because my friend of years had just had a baby and two weeks prior my life long friend (her sister)of only years died a tragic death so I only wanted to make her feel specialher website does say equal value. Anyway it is sad that she felt the need to involve a lawyer and say that I was posting untruths on social media. I never lied I used the truth and I stated in my opinion. This could all have been settled with an "I am sorry we forgot the stuffed animal we will get that there todayI am sorry you are dissatisfied with the product and we could have worked something out but just taking back the flowers was not an option for me because I wanted to save my dear friend from the drama. I guess I will just have to live with the outcome and just think of it as a life lesson because obviously I don't have money to throw at a lawyer I have kids and I am a housewifeAs wronged as I feel I must apologize to you Jay Pollock for the waste of time I should have just realized that there was no good out come and I should have just let it go but I just hate feeling taken advantage of but there are other complaints of the same nature on her facebook pageBest wishes to you and god bless

I am rejecting this response because: She never offered to send another arrangement she only offered to take back the one that she had delivered and yes I would have preferred that I would have ordered from another florist. However I saw this as being a rude statement to go into my friends hospital room and take back the flowers.  I never said that the her website did not say that I told her that it was an issue because her website states (occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to AVAILABILITY of certain flower in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement , using flowers of equal value. Additionally , the substitution of certain keepsakes \ items may be necessary due to increased demand especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements , such as an all rose bouquet, or orchards, we will make very attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.) I order flowers for people all of the time and I never have had these issues.  My complaint was that the arrangement I ordered had white roses and white lilies and a sapphire vase the one that was delivered was in not way the same value in any way as the one I paid for.  The only resolution she ever offered was to take the flowers back. I drove to Douglas last weekend and I saw the flowers first hand they were already dead but beyond that it was even worse in person than over the picture the vase was a very small cheap vase and there were not very many flowers in it.  The rose and lilies are a flower that is most popular and expensive am I really supposed to believe that had no roses and no lilies and only clear small vases? I never got irate over the phone or anything like that I calmly told her that compared to the flowers I paid for the flowers that I received were crap and trust me when I say they are.  This company has had other complaints just like mine and have poster on [redacted] as well as their ** page so it is not just me.
