A Fresh Clean Start

A Fresh Clean Start, LLC contracted to perform a move-out cleaning on a rental property located on [redacted]. They requested half of the funds be provided prior to the work in the form of a cashier's check. The requested funds were sent and acknowledged by AFCS. On the day they were to perform the work they received a second Cashier's Check for the remaining amount of the funds to cover the cleaning they had agreed to perform. They took the funds but never performed the work. They have stated they would return the funds after the checks cleared the bank on 5 Feburary but have never refunded the money, $350.00 total.From AFCS email to myself:[redacted],Your refund will be sent on Tuesday, 2/5/13.We need to ensure the previous payments have cleared our account.-[redacted]Follow-on requests for information related to the refund have not been answered and the funds have not been received.
