My fiance's vehicle was vandalized and needed minor body work and to be repainted. Our insurance company paid out the claim, I cashed the check and took out $400 for a rental car, and my fiance paid $3,100.00 to "his auto body guy" and put in the work order. A receipt was given to us with an estimated completion date of February 11, 2013 if not sooner. The vehicle has been in and out of the auto body shop for various "touch ups" and other prepaid unfinished jobs. The body work and paint job were done poorly. Additional damages were done to the vehicles exterior after the body work and paint job were done while the vehicle was in their possession, and he refuses to repair these damages. The shop owner has given us non-stop excuses and has been unresponsive and unclear as to when the work will be completed. Other uncompleted prepaid work ($1,600.00 paid in full February of last year)includes installation of 2 8" [redacted] speakers and 1 4" [redacted] tweeter in a custom fiberglass door panel on both front driver and passenger doors, totaling 4 speakers and 2 tweeters. A ported SPL box for 4 15" [redacted] P3 sub-woofers which also were paid in full last year and have yet to be installed.
