Review: Called to check on a water leak to find out if it was the result of a pipe damage. The same day realized a water leak in an other bathroom in our townhouse under the sink. Asked the plumber if he could fix it. He said yes and spent 3 hours replacing hot and cold lines etc. Before he started did not give me an estimated price just started working. He went to [redacted] to pick up "supply" and handed me the final bill for 599.20$ I was in shock but wrote him a check and he left. A few days later I realized it was still leaking called them the same guy came out went in the bathroom came out and said its fixed. After he left it was still leaking and I called a different company. They gave me an estimate before started working and told me the plumber did not put putty around pipes and the pop up piece in the sink had no putty around it either. At this time I watched his every move because I didn't want to have an other situation where they say they fixed the problem but they didn't. I had coupons for A-General also and after they said I cant use any of them. Their advertisement was false, they are over charging people and did a horrible job!Desired Settlement: the second company charged me 100$ to replace the botched job the guy from A-General did and that's all I'm asking for. My husband called them but they refused to take responsibility.

I Just recently returned From being out of the country to receive your letter dated December 18‘“ suspending

A—General's account with the Revdex.com due to lack of response to a complaint filed on

October 7"“, As I had discussed with one of your reps while out of the count - the Few times

that it has occurred, my office was always notified via postal service mail of any complaints or notifications to my office in Farmingdale and we always responded in a timely manner, Unfortunately, this complaint

was sent via email to an A-General email account: that is not always in use, furthermore I could not access it outside the country. A copy of the your complaint was Forwarded to me and as I had mentioned my

intentions were to follow up as soon as I returned to the office and all the paperwork and times could be put together for a response.

On October 1" we were Contacted by [redacted] or a leak within her bathroom. A service technician was dispatched immediately to her home and through diagnosing found the shower leaking onto the floor of the bathroom. He was told by [redacted] that another plumber will be coming to repair the shower and did not want us to repair it. The tenant showed my service technicians three shut off valves and drain parts that she wanted replaced underneath the sink. He proceeded to give her a price for the work to be done in accordance to a- general policy. however she told him that she will be forwarding her cost to the landlord and did not need a cost. t. My service technician went to a local plumbing supply company purchased the. necessary material, rammed to make the requested repair and charged accordingly, A few days later on the

7th, we received another call from Ms} [redacted] that there was a leak and immediately the same technician was sent 120 her home. My technician. Found no leaks under the sink, at. the pop up Or at any of the valves replaced, the shower continued to leak and again we were no: approved to repair. The next day [redacted] called our office again stating she had called another plumber out and that the pop up was leaking. My office requested a copy of the other plumbers bill which I have attached also For your review‘ The other company- did respond to the original diagnosis we found, which was the shower that was leaking and proceeded to change the tub/shower diverter spout. He also mentions that he added puddy co the pop-up but it does not state that it was leaking. As with. all my customers, my company stands behind all of our work, if the problem persisted I would have sent out one of my supervisors to assess the issue. and make any

repairs on our account.
