I own a restaurant and I have tile in my kitchen and behind my bar. I kept losing health code points cause of cracked tiles. I got in touch with [redacted] from [redacted] Lining to fix the floor. He advertises that he is a licensed [redacted] liner dealer, which I found out later from [redacted] liner that he isn't. I wanted to use [redacted] lining because I know that [redacted] liner is a great product and they make a floor paint that is very strong and he is the only person around that uses it. [redacted] assured me that his floor paint was super strong and that he could paint right over top of the tile and it would seal it. He changed me $7,500 to do the kitchen, the bathrooms and behind my bar. $7,500 was more than what I expected to pay but I knew that [redacted] liner wasn't cheap so I had him do it. He did the job Dec 23 2012. Within the first 2 months it started pealing up. He came back and fixed the spots. Again 2 months later it started pealing up. He came back and fixed the spots. This time I asked him "Is it going to keep pealing up" he said "No it was pealing up because some spots weren't level but he leveled it all so it should be good to go." Well it wasn't 2 months later it started pealing up again except this time I couldn't get [redacted] on the phone. He won't return my phone calls, every time I call he's not there. When I finally got him on the phone he said he'd be out there in a couple days, He never showed up. That was 6 months ago. I called the manufacturer and they said he wasn't a licensed dealer and they couldn't warranty the work. The Health department came out and I lost 2.5 points off my health code score. With broken tile I only lost 1 point. The whole point in painting the floor was for the health score and now I'm losing more points then if I never even painted the floor. What finally pushed me over the edge is now [redacted] is saying that he told me that his floor paint wouldn't stick to tile and I told him to do it anyway. He's lying why would I pay someone so much if it was just going to peal right up.Product_Or_Service: Rhino Liner Floor PaintDesired SettlementSeeming he's not a licensed [redacted] Liner dealer and he shouldn't have been using it in the first place. I would like a full refund cause it is going to cost me a lot of money to have someone scrap up the stuff he put down and then fix it the way it should have been done the first time. $7,500 refund. Also I can get all the original paperwork for the job from my landlord, [redacted]
