Review: We were looking for someone to do some work in our yard. We saw someone doing work for a neighbor so we asked him to come give us an estimate. His name is [redacted] Thorn from A Good Tree Service, LLC. He came over to look at the work we wanted done. We wanted him and his crew to take down some trees and grind some stumps and remove/chip a large pile of existing wood. He wrote up a contract and gave us a start date. He did not show up on the start date. He came by the next day (8/20/13) and started but not until 2:30 in the afternoon. He and his crew worked for 5 hours. He asked for a down payment of 1/3 of the contract price, and said he would be back in 2 days because he needed special equipment that he couldn't get until then. He never came back. We have left countless messages (Many time his voice mail is full and we can't leave a message). We have spoken a few times when he picks up the phone. Three additional times he promised to come back and did not show up. Then he told us he was giving the work to some other people and they did not show up when we were told they would. It has now been over a month and we are out the money we paid him and our yard is in shambles.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund and we will find someone else to do the job who is reliable.

Regarding complaint ID [redacted], A Good Tree Service, LLC contacted a subcontractor who completed the work per the original terms of the contract. Better late than never, eh?
