Good Morning, my name is *** ***, manager for A&H Motors IncI am responding to a customer complaint made to your office against our car lotOn March 3rd, *** *** and *** *** purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from A&H MotorsWe provided them with conventional
financing thru Credit Acceptance Corporation, which is one of the finance companies we use in order to help customers either establish or re-establish their creditThe customers drove the Jeep Cherokee before purchasing the vehicle and were satisfied at the time with the vehicle and made a decision to purchase the Jeep Cherokee*** *** called me about weeks after purchasing the vehicle to inform me that the vehicle was at a mechanic shopShe informed me that she was not in a position to fix the issues that were wrong with the vehicleWe continued to speak on the phone for about a week to try to resolve the cost on repairs to her vehicleI told Ms*** that A&H Motors does good clean business and that we would do what we could to make sure all of our customers are happyI then told here we could help with half of the repairs on the vehicleI asked Ms*** to provide me with an invoice from the mechanic shop in order for us to make a check payable to the mechanic shop the vehicle would be repaired atThe only requirement we had was to make sure the vehicle was in good running condition before we were to write a check to the mechanic shopMs*** informed me that the mechanic shop would fax me a repair order invoiceMs*** called me a few days later to see if the mechanic shop had faxed the invoice and I told her I did not receive any fax yetThe fax machine is located in my office, and all faxes that come through, are seen from me onlyMs*** called a few more times and I told her we never received a faxI then asked her if she could bring me a copy of the repair bill when she had a chance, and she said she would try if she couldI didn't hear anything for a while until her spouse *** *** called me on the phoneHe started the conversation by cussing, and for the next few minutes accusing us of knowingly selling them a bad vehicleHe accused us of rigging the vehicle and intentionally selling them the vehicle with mechanical issuesI understood his frustration and informed him we do clean business and that any patch work, as he called it, could have been done by a previous owner, as he continued to cuss at meAfter venting his frustration I told Mr*** the same thing, I told him all I needed the whole time was an invoice, because we just do not write random checks, we need to account for every check we write for our companyAfter all the arguing over the phone I was still trying to help him, I told him, Mr*** this is so easy just get me an invoice from the mechanic shop and we will help with the repairs, and he said that's all you need and I said yesHe said okay I will get back with you soonI said okay I'll be hereThat was the last conversation I've had with them, until I received a call from the Revdex.comAs of today we still have not received any type of bill from the mechanic shop or the customers reporting this complaintA&H Motors has been in business for the last plus years and we have sold over vehicles from our locationWe have done everything in our power to help satisfy all of our customers that we canI know most car lots that do not help their customers because of the as/is agreementEven though our customers sign an as/is agreement with our lot, we still help our customersThat is what makes our buying experience differentI hope this will help explain what you needThis is the first time ever we've had to respond to any kind of a complaint letter, so I hop this is what you need Thanks *** *** Sales manager for A&H Motors

I am rejecting this response because: The Sales Manager [redacted] is making it seem like we did nothing in our power to get him that invoice. The mechanic shop sent it three times and had confirmation numbers it was sent successfully. That was the easiest way for us to do it since We walk and take the bus to and from work due to us no longer having the jeep anymore, and to try and make an extra trip or pay for a cab just so he can get the invoic he said he didn't get was out of our hands. From the beginning [redacted] was beating around the bush and giving me the run around about him needing to speak to the owner which is his cousin and he was out of reach. He seemed dismissive and not apologetic of the situation at all. We don't always have $2,000 cash to spend on a vehicle, that was our savings and it's gone with nothing to show for. I just want our money back and for this mess to be resolved.
