We have reviewed that background on this issue, and believe there is no basis for this complaint or request for a refund..Our service technician spent hours on property probing and investigating to locate the source of the leakIt was discovered, and the customer was advised we would contact her with a bid to make necessary repairs The source of the leak was so small, it was not determined to be an emergency and was placed with other pending bids Mrs [redacted] did contact the office checking status and was advised on this Regrettably her impatience caused her to seek out someone else to make the repair that we had in fact locatedThat was her option

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The repairman did not pinpoint the leak He saw where the water was bubbling, which I pointed out to him, but at no time did he determine the location of the leak The repairman from Legend took pictures which he sent to his supervisor to see about how to dig down through feet of clay to find the leak, and I took a photo of what the site looked like when he left ( [redacted] ) I have a picture that shows what the 2nd plumbing company had to do to find the leak ( [redacted] ) In regard to my "impatience", I could not obtain any timeframe from Legend as to when they would send a repairman I don't know of any reasonable person who would continue to allow a water pipe to leak without at least some estimate of when they would send a repairman Regards, [redacted]

We had previously responded to complainants issue with no response. We have refunded her credit card in full, she needs to check with her credit card company to confirm this

Here at Legend Plumbing and Rooter we take pride in our work and customer satisfactionMr ***’s Inspection was performed on March 3rd “Attached is Invoice# 160081, Waste Manifest for the disposal and Inspection reportOur office was not contacted again by Mr *** until March 31st
(Twenty Eight Days after the initial system inspection and pump out)Our Office advised Mr *** on the phone that the alarm going off was a high water alarm and there was a chance the system was left off after the inspection since the home was up for saleOnce the customer located the on and off switch and turned the system on it started spraying correctlyMr *** did mention he noticed the wires to the red light were disconnected/broken possible, even by our company at that timeHe was informed that due to the time lapse there is no way to say who is at fault and it would be a chargeable call to come back out and that he also needed a Preventive Maintenance Provider to inspect the system quarterly and an appointment was made for April 1st the following dayOn April 1st Mr *** contacted our office and canceled the appointmentOur office did not here from Mr *** again until April 5th (Four days later) and said someone was out on his property and said the system has sludge in it and that we needed to pump it outWe advised Mr *** that we would take care of the issue but first needed to send our own Specialist out there at no charge to verify the statement being made before we send a Vacuum Truck outMr *** got upset and said the only way we could come out was to pump out for free. It is clearly stated on the attached copies the customer signed that “*** *** * *** has not been retained to warrant, guarantee, or certify the proper functioning of the system for any period of time In the futureBecause of the numerous factors (usage, soil characteristics, previous failures, etc.) which may affect the proper operation of a *** system.” Inclosing we stand by our previous statement to send a Specialist back to give a second optionHowever, due to the almost month lapse in time since the original pump out and inspection, it would be a chargeable call.
