A + Home Modifications is registered with the City of New*** as a contractor.We are bonded and Insured. We have
a contract with Mrs*** *** to remodel theguest bathroom shower.At the beginning of the project the Customer was prettyhappy about the job and the timing of the project. We the customer allowed us worked late some days to tryto complete the project.In some occasions because we work late the day before andbecause the picking up of the materials we showed up to the house around10:00-11:a.m On the selection of the material the client selected a12”X12” ceramic tile to go on the walls of the shower and selected a 2”X2”ceramic tile to go on the floor The 12”X12” ceramic tile was picked up from the Lowe’sstore. We picked outexactly the tile that the customer selected and the serial numbers match fromthe tile selection to the tile in the boxes that we purchase from Lowe’s store. The 2’X2” ceramic tile for the floor of the shower waspicked up from a store in San Antonio.We picked out exactly the tile that the customer selectedand the numbers match from the tile selection to the tile in the boxes that wepurchase from the San Antonio Store. Throughout the process of the Installation of the 12”X12”ceramic tile on the shower walls, the customer looked at the tile and she saw the tile looked different than the onethat she had selected in the store so we looked at the tile that she selectedand the boxes and the serial number of the tile to see if the numbers match and they did match Mrs*** and her roommate agreed about the serial numbers of the tile that they selectedand the ones that we purchase form Lowe’s match. We asked the client on what she want it to do and shesaid that it was OK for us to continue to installed the tile that she selected. Ones we were completed with the installation of the tileon the walls and the floor.We set up an appointment to have the shower door personto do a measurement on the shower door. The next day Mrs*** called the office and ask for meto come by her house to talked about the shower so I did come by her house andwe talked about some concerns and I called my guys and they come about minlater and we talked about the concerns of the client and set up a time the nextday to go her house to correct the minor issues. Mrs*** made some comments on the tile 12”X12” ceramictile wall color and mention again the difference on the one that she picked outand the one that we installedMrs*** said that she was OK again with tile and bythe way that it looked. We went to Mrs.*** house the next day to correct the concerns of the client. I also send the shower door person to getting themeasurements of the shower door to placedthe order for the door and the panel.It usually takes about to days to get the orders in. Mrs*** never come by or called back the office or totell us of any concerns or issues after we left her house. Mrs*** came by my office and I told her that theshower door just came in the day before and that we need to set up a time to dothe installation. Mrs*** mention to me that she checked with the Cityof *** *** and that I wasn’t register with them as a contractor.I responded to her that I was and to make sure to go backand check again and to give them the right information. Mrs*** talked to me about the tile that she hadtrouble with the color that she selected for the walls and also that she wasn’tplease with the look of the floor tile in the shower. I explained to her that she was the one that she selectedall the materials and that I will be more them happy to help her with anythingthat she needed. Mrs*** said no, and that she didn’t want it me to goback to her house to do anything.I also explained to her that she was the one making thedecision and that I was willing to help her on any way that I could. I explained to Mr*** that the shower door come in and that I needed toset up an appointment to installed and she said that she didn’t want it and then she walked out of my office. At the meaning time I have been waiting for Mrs*** tocall and to let me know what she desired to do. Mrs*** *** came in to my office yesterday Monday8/03/in the Morning with her roommate and we talked about the situation andwe are working things out Thank You!
