A Home Sweet Home Inspection

Mr. *** the owner of Arizona Home Sweet Home Inspections, provided an inspection service at the house under contract for purchase by us as the buyers. The inspection was done on February 2, 2020.
Mr. did inspect the appliances including the dishwasher, the washer and dryer, but he did not inspect the freezer/ refrigerator at all.He did NOT even bother to plug the power cord in to check if it is operating or not!
During our final walk in the house together with our realtor agent, we noticed the refrigerator was not even connected to the water tap either. Therefore, we purchased the hose and connected the water but with the unit never worked properly. The freezer did not freeze anything after 2 weeks and the refrigerator never got cold enough to preserve the foods even though it was set at the coldest level.
After asking a repair company to check the unit, the diagnosis was that there is a gas leakage inside the body of the unit and it is not fixable.
Now with passing 4 weeks we have been living on ice boxes(!) while had to waste plenty of food and vegetables since they were getting spoiled withing a couple days.
We believe Mr. did not preform the inspection to protect us as the buyers while we paid him $350 for that purpose.
