During the term of a lease agreement which ended 8/30/2011 on a property operated by AJC Partners they attempted to take advantage of tenants by not conducting any walkthru with the tenants to discuss possible damage charges/fixes before allowing the succeeding tenants to move in. AJC Partners then proceeded to cite uncorroborated damage charges and withhold an unreasonable amount from the tenants security deposit ($235.00 out of the original $1,100.00 was returned). No receipts/specific costs for the damages were offered and the actual charges appeared to be fabricated.
After contacting AJC Partners multiple times to resolve this issue it was made apparent that they did not wish to settle the dispute. This has forced the tenants to file a suit in the St. Louis County Circuit Court.
