Rented a U-Haul from this location at the beginning of June. The sales person at the time was friendly, but very shady in his sales tactics (fear based selling for insurance, while not uncommon, his statements were actually legally untrue as I've worked for enterprise & been trained in the sales of insurance). This was not an issue for me, and I chose not to get insurance and went about my rental. I called them yesterday (June 18) to report that I had left a personal dolly and moving blanket in the back of their truck (along with the stand-up dolly that I had rented from them) when I returned it. Man who answered yesterday said he would look into it and get back to me. Today I called and spoke with a different man (I believe his name was [redacted]). Explained to him that I had rented a stand-up dolly, but had left items that were not U-Hauls in the back. He stated that he had no way to follow-up with this. I told him that I had picked up and dropped off at the same location and asked him about his check-in process (which the man yesterday had let me know about), to which he became extremely defensive. He stated that the items were U-Hauls and he would not give them back to me (before had stated that he had no way to check on them). I said that the blanket was mine, personally, and the 4-wheel flat dolly was a friends, so that is not possible. I told him that I was very frustrated and was going to file a complaint with Revdex.com, because this was unethical & he stated that was going to file a theft report and that my friend had stolen the dolly from U-haul at some point & I the blanket. Interesting that he started by telling me that he couldn't follow-up on the items, and then told me that he couldn't give them back because they were stolen.
