2'0"Deep only. The owner watched me complete this himself. He also watch the entire project take shape. I finish the job and he called me back to re-saw cut more  control joint back in to control water flow. He told me the water was going into his basement and leaking below the patch I installed. I ask him and told him that I would patch the basement wall from the inside and guarantee him it won't leak!! He refuse to let me in his basement to verify the water leakage or even repair!! So I told him I would caulk the expansion joint and prevent any or all additional water flowing towards his side of patio.  The patio has a 4" pitch o 16'-0" long & 13'0" wide. (See sketch:) He claims that all the water pitches to the window well & into his basement!! It's in the top 5 LF of the patio and it would take a 100 year storm to gain 100 gallons of water!!  I can't convince him that his underground water table must be high to leak back in to his basement wall below my patch!! He said I did a bad job and I must be a bad contractor!! I told him I was going on vacation and would try to solve this problem for him if I could!! Water test for epoxy roof leaks not from attic (this end house)  I, Ray, am 80 years old and not in best of health. Have been told not to talk to Wayne or allow to come back to my house. All he does is point blank,nothing but lie and making misleading statements. My health comes first. If Wayne is a honest person?? He will allow me to hire a professional basement water contractor to correct all your mistakes, replace that water thin concrete pad you built with a patio that I had for 25 yrs.
