A & J Heating & Air Conditioning

The service man for A & J came out to determine the reason my a/c unit was not cooling at my rental unit. He determined it to be no freon probably resulting from a leak. He sold me 5 lbs. and said that should fix it for now, but that I would need to consider what to do in the future because it has a leak. I had to leave him to complete his work to go get my daughter from preschool. My tenants called me later in the evening complaining that the air conditioning was still not cooling. I called a second company out the next day to get a second opinion because I could not get a straight answer as to my issue from the first service man. (He seemed to leave me only the option of getting a whole new heat system.) The second service man found that I had NO freon the very next day after the service man from A & J. He could find no leaks on my system to suggest why I would lose 5 lbs. overnight. He had to thaw the compressor in order for the a/c to start cooling. I had to buy 5 lbs. again from this service man. It was then suggested that I put a stop payment on my initial check because I had been ripped off.
