A&J endangered the welfare of my 99-year-old mother when they assigned an aide who had never previously been a licaseworker The aide had health issues that resulted in her collapse outside on a concrete sidewalk while waiting with my mother for transportation to a medical appointment As she fell to the ground, the aide grabbed my mother's wheelchair handle for support, pulling the wheelchair sideways to the ground with my mother strapped in itMy mother screamed as she fell and the aide barely regained consciousness, unaware of the seriousness of the incident she had just caused Two witnesses in addition to myself were appalled and quickly worked to get my mother's wheelchair upright The aide revived and traveled to the appointment with my mother, only to collapse again inside the facility where she received emergency treatment and was admitted to the hospitalMy mother returned home with a new aide assigned from a different agencyA&J has failed on numerous occasions to provide satisfactory weekend home health care aides for my mother, and they have sent no less than half a dozen different aides over the course of the last few months I would not recommend them to anyone and I assert that their Medicaid certification should be revoked

A & J does not respond to calls for "no show aide" on weekends leaving total care patient alone In general they consistently have difficulty providing weekend care and are unreachable on weekends
