A & J Recreational Service

A&J installed our above ground pool and we are very unsatisfied with the quality of their work and their professionalism. On top of installation, we paid A&J over a thousand dollars cash to grade and remove the dirt from our yard. I guess in an effort to take more money to remove the dirt, they buried our pool and we were either stuck with a mountain of dirt and a destroyed yard or we had to pay for them to remove it. The pump itself was plopped in and is sitting on unlevel ground. They refused to level out the ground. In addition, they left a large pile of dirt that we paid for them to clean up that we now have to shovel out ourselves. They refused to clean it up. A&J destroyed our yard, left all of their personal litter as well as the litter from the installation, washed their hands in our brand new pool, and left us very unsatisfied with their service.

A & J installed a pool and were to leave a truckload of topsoil to backfill. I was left with 2-3 truckloads of clay that was unacceptable. A & J was asked while still on site to remove the clay and we were told no because the truck was already gone and we would have to pay for another job to remove the clay. They damaged my patio by taking a chunk of concrete out and denied responsibility. A & J sent someone out about a week later and I was told that the owner measured incorrectly and there was too much clay/dirt left behind, but I would have to pay for a truck to remove it. I still haven’t heard from A & J regarding the matter. I had to pay another company to fix the mistake of hiring A & J. When they offer a better deal if you pay cash, don’t do it or you will have no recourse.
