I had a builder build a one hundred thousand dollar addition to my home. All throughout the construction they seemed like they were doing the right thing. However, my builder, out of Webster NH had AJ Roy Excavating do all the ground work for the foundation. After the project was finished, and about three years later, the addition got flooded after a quick snow melt and lots of rain!, the rest of the house was dry, only the addition was flooded. I called AJ Roy and he came out a day or two later. He said he would be back to do something, but never showed up. I then called Mr Geoff [redacted] (I beleive he is the owner of the building company) and he cam out. He suggested I put some concrete caulk between the floor and the walls, which I did. He also said he wanted to get together with AJ Roy to see what they could do. Never heard from them again...the builder did do a pretty nice job putting up the addition, however AJ Roy did an extremely lousy job with the grading of the new addition. Would I ever use AJ Roy again...? No way. Would I ever recommended them to a friend...? Not if I wanted to keep them as a friend! They appear to be like many others that are in the trade, once they get your money, they're gone.
