A-Line Roll Off Services

A line Roll Off Service starts out friendly. You order a dumpster from them and they pick the size for your project. I indicated I had a 39 square roofing project, one layer tear off, to complete. The woman I spoke to was very helpful. She reassured me the 20yd dumpster would be more than sufficent for my job. I agreed by telephone for the 10 day dumpster (the smallest # of days allowed) and did not sign any contract. The dumpster and unsigned contract was dropped off, Thursday morning. I assumed Thursday was day one so expected at the latest the company would pick up the dumpster on the following Monday ( probably closed Sundays). To my surprise, I received a call from the company Monday afternoon asking if I was ready for them to pick up my dumpster. I returned the call immediately and advised of course I was ready for them to pick it up, it had been more than 10 days and my job had been done for awhile. They said they like for the customer to call them to confirm pickup. I explained I could see why a call would be necessary if wanting to keep it longer but if I agreed to 10 days, why would I need to call them to confirm 10 days? Pickup for Wednesday. Well it poured for the next few days and the items in my dumpster were wet. They took it to the dump and told me the weight was over 5 ton! There is no possible way my 39 square roof with one layer of tear off had over 5 ton. Also, the company failed to call to tell me they were charging my authorized card an additional $133.50. So I had to call them when I saw the charge, the next day. The woman I called told me I would have to take it up with management. The manager, if you want to call her that, talked over me, told me she was talking to me like a 2 year old because "how else would I talk to you right now." Then she proceeded to handle the conversation terribly, complete lack of understanding listening to the customer. She did offer to waive 50% of my charge. Then owner gets involved, result, no refund at all. Professional Bunch...
