A-List Taxi

I travelled in what I will loosely discribe as a taxi on April [redacted] travelling from Newark airport to an address in Highland MillsThe vehicle itself was in extremely bad condition, the seats were dirty and the material covering the roof of the cab was falling downThere was no legroom in the back and it was extremely uncomfortableMy main complaint and concern was the fact that there were no seat belts available in the backI travelled on a busy highway at some speed feeling very unsafe and anxious! The driver was surly and rude and the whole experience was not one I as a visitor to New York wish to experience again

On April [redacted] we got a supposed taxi to pick us up at Newark airport to take my wife and I to highland mills new yorkWhen the car arrived it was a beaten up old green jeep cherokeeWhen we were putting our luggage in the trunk, which was full of junk, we had to lift the luggage ourselves as the driver had to hold the door open from above to prevent it falling on usWhen we got into the vehicle, the back seat belts would not work, the car was dirty inside, and when we told the driver that my wife felt unsafe in the back seat , he said the belts should be working, and to keep on trying ...but they definitely were not working, after many attempts by my wife tryingAlong the way the driver was distracted whilst driving on the busy highway, by speaking on his cell phone, as well as reading text messages....and then he asked us if we were paying him in cash as he did not accept credit cards, contrary to what it says on the a list websiteIn conclusion, this company who sent this car and driver are completely irresponsible, and should not be in business providing what can only be described as a death trap car for us on April ***Our adviceDo not use this taxi service End

There was no legroom in the back and it was extremely uncomfortable. My main complaint and concern was the fact that there were no seat belts available in the back. I travelled on a busy highway at some speed feeling very unsafe and anxious! The driver was surly and rude and the whole experience was not one I as a visitor to New York wish to experience again.
