I would HIGHLY discourage anyone from boarding your pet at A LTouch Pet Chalet After paying for a "suite" for our two dogs for a week long stay, we picked our dogs up to find one had suffered a severe dog bite several days ago (4-is what the vet estimated) that needed medical attention Not only were we not told about the bite- no medical attention had been administered We took our dog to our neighborhood vet and were told to immediately go to an animal hospital to receive treatment for the oozing woundAs if that were not bad enough As we are checking out, prior to seeing out pets (an discovering the severe dog bite) we were treated EXTREMLEY rudely by the owner of the kennel *** *** Never have I experienced such horrendous customer service, and down right rude behavior from an owner of a small businessAfter calling A LTouch Pet Chalet within minutes of picking out dogs up, and inquiring about the oozing injury we were told they had no idea how it happened and possibly occurred while the dog was under the bed in the suite This CLEARLY was not a scratch but rather a biteThe injury was VERY evident if anyone had paid any attention to our dog at allAgain, the next morning I called to let A LTouch Pet Chalet now what the vet had diagnosed I asked to speak to *** *** (owner) and were told she was unavailable I told the person that answered the phone what had happened and was told again, they had no idea WHAT!?!? A open, oozing wound that was clearly visible had not been discovered for days???!! I have yet to have received a return call from the owner *** *** in regard to my call, nor has anyone called to check on my dogs conditionI would highly recommend anyone that loves their pet to stay away from A LTouch Pet Chalet!

This horrible incident never would have occurred if we had been advised that we were not to place *** and *** in the ***e doggy dorm roomThe room measures 6'x8' and is comfortable for dogs. When we brought *** to Aspen Meadows we were told that *** had been treated at
another facility in December for bites caused by *** so it's clear that the owners were aware of the viciousness that *** displays for *** as well as other dogs. Please refer to the contract Mr*** did sign stating that he would not bring an aggressive dog that has injured people or dogs. Further the contract states that ALT has permission to bring his dog to the vet if necessary and agree to pay the veterinary bill. However, after much heated discussion my employee Don P*** allowed them to pay only half of the vet billThe *** still owe ALT $300. We cared for both *** and *** with the professional manner we treat any other pets at our facility and will not be refunding the money they are requesting.. In addition we would like to collect full payment from the *** family for the veterinary bill attached. I write this with the hope and prayer that *** has not had to endure any further attacks. I have been bringing my half dane / half mastiff to A Lov-in Touch Pet Chalet and Spaw for over a year now and I have had nothing but positive things to say. First, they seem to me to have an actual real relationship with my dog. I judge them mostly on how my dog reacts when we get there, he runs to the gate and then runs to the staff as if he is part of their pack.
I have had few minor incidents with my dog such as him barking to much and these things were brought to my attention right away. These issues I now know about and have been working with him and they have gotten a lot better.
Since my dog has been going here I have seen a great improvement is his behavior around other dogs and people. He use to be a little skittish but is now much better to the point I don't get worried about him in public and becoming scared.
As for the people that work there, they are great and I feel very confident with leaving my dog with them.

A Lovin Touch Pet Chalet has been SUCH an amazing resource for our lab rescue! They get to know our dogs extremely well, and have loved them all SO much!
[redacted] and her staff have partnered with Mile High Labrador Retriever Rescue Mission to help us care for quite a few dogs. Whenever we visit-our dogs are as happy as can be-and you can tell how well they are cared for!
They have even gone so far as to post our rescues on their webpage in hopes of helping them find homes, and staff even take some of our dogs home at night to give them additional TLC!
Our dogs LOVE the play areas-and the kennels are always kept clean.
We LOVE the fact that the owners live right on the property. How often does this happen?! This allows for them to check on dogs in need throughout the night if needed-and to be there in the blink of an eye when needed.
ALL of our adopters who have been here to adopt dogs have had amazing experiences! They rave about the staff, how well they treat/know our dogs, and how accommodating they are.
We hope to have a few fosters here a year, and those dogs will be super lucky to get this opportunity while waiting for their homes!
