Review: On September the 24th I went in to a&m nail salon to get my nails done. Before I went in I called first to asked the price of a full gel nail set,the lady on the phone told me 35 dollars and when I got there it was apparent that she did not know english that well but even thou we had agreed to a price over the phone the manager said it was 50 dollars,I did not have 50 so I gave them 43.During the process of him doing my nails I was burned under the uv light during the gel curing process and he seemed to not care,I also tried to ask questions but he was not talking to me,he also in a unsanitary way cleaned the nail polish off my nails with his nails cutting my cuticles. On September the 29thth less than a week of having my nails done I went in to talk to them about redoing my nails,my nails were chipping and falling off,when I went in I explained my problem but one of the ladies that works there does not know english that good,she sat me down and was completely unaware of my nails,I don't believe she has a license because she is unaware of how to do nails,she tried to to take my nail polish off in a unsanitary nail polish removal jar that clearly had been used dozens of times and needed to be thrown away,when the polish did not come off I tried to explain it was gel nails but she did not know what I was talking about,all she did was put nail glue under the nail that was coming off. I wanted to try again so I called when I got home to speak to the manager and asked if they could fix my nails,they told me to come in after 10am on September 30th. I went in about 5pm that day and explained the same problem,she knew I wanted them to redo my nails but they kept avoiding it even thou the job was not done right,she said she would charge me 13 dollars for a redo which I felt like I had no choice so I agreed,when she sat me down she started on my nails and was getting ready to put the wrong product on my nails,I had to explain my nails were gel but she did not understand and had to talk to the manager of the salon,he said it would be 25 for a fill in,I refused and left,I dont believe I should have to pay 25 on top of 43 I just paid them when they did my nails wrong.Desired Settlement: I believe I deserve a refund for the unprofessional and stressful treatment I received, after leaving the salon I begin to suffer from a pain attack and migraine
