On 7/13/our company received a phone call to a residence in complaint of a "LINER REPAIR" and the liner was loosing water** *** was very rude to our company from the first phone call we received when he was requesting service and went on how other companies tried to sell him a pool liner
to fix his leak issue he had at the timeBut we are very good with repairing leaks in liners that other companies think should be replacedHe set an appointment and we arrived on timeWhen we approached the door to receive signature authorization for testing the pool liner his wife stated she dose not have any form of payment and must call her husband to discuss the signature authorization issue but he is in a meetingIt took our company minutes to arrive to the residence, and we then waiting another minutes for a phone call back from ** ***As I spoke to ** ***, I explained we need a signature authorization for testing before we start (for state law purposes) , also that we do not except credit cards over the phone, due to higher credit card fees, and guidelines of our bank rules for our processing terminal*** *** stated " I dont let my wife have cash, credit cards, or checks in the house because she would spend all his money" He then got very rudeWe offered to come back the next day or his next earliest convenience that he personally would be available for payment and signature authorization(note: the location was minutes each way away from our location and we did not ask for any additional payment) Later that night he called and let us know that he would be ok with us coming back to test his "LINER" for leaksso we arrived the following day on time once againWe received signature authorization and tested the "LINER" for leaks as per his requestWe found about holes in the liner and informed the customer its would be $to repair the linerA second authorization for repairs was then signedOnce the repairs to the liner was made he asked to give a quick check at the pump area and we noticed his pump cap was leaking slightly and informed the customer to replace it when he had a chance and did not charge any additional, no other leaks where existing at the time of our testing of the "LINER ONLY"As we discussed the charges of $, he then started an argument " I AM NOT PAYING TAX" ! I explained everyone pays tax, its state law, If you dont pay the tax then I will have to discount the bill so taxes will get payedWe then had to lower the subtotal of the bill so taxes could be accounted for to equal $in totalHe then want to pay with a credit cardIt stated I cant take a credit card payment because I already lowered your bill to taxes includedAnd if I take a credit card it would be more of a loss and requested either plus tax with credit card, or cash with tax includedHe agreed to have taxes included with the $ costWe provided a letter to him since he was selling his house that the" POOL LINER WAS LEAK FREE" we could not include in the letter anything about the pump since the pump cap needed to be replaced and we did not perform any service on the mechanical half of the pool systemThe liner testing and repairs to the "pool liner" performed on 7/14/He then called on 7/28/(days later) stating his pump hose went bad, and wanted it fixed " AT NO CHARGE" (I would also like to include he still had no complaints of the liner leaking and it was still holding water after we fixed it)I tried to explain that things do go bad and break over time ( such as a pool liner) but he did not want to hear it, and hung up on meWe will not replace pump hoses for free, since we only tested the pool liner and no other issues existed at the time of service other the the cap of the pump I informed customer to change

I am rejecting this response because:
I requested the POOL BE COMPLETELY LEAK FREE!!! Never did I say I ONLY WANTED THE LINER checked! I wanted my pool to STOP LOSING WATER!! The cap to my motor was functioning fine, BUT the pool "expert" said it was CRACKED! It was never cracked before, in fact, THE POOL GUY BROKE IT!! Then handed it to me and said it was cracked and needed replacement As for the payment, I never said I WOULDNT PAY TAX!! The POOL PATCHER said cash only and it would be $EVEN (clearly meaning he will keep the cash and not claim the revenue) He wouldnt take my CREDIT CARD or MY WIFE'S CREDIT CARD because he would have to PAY a FEE! CASH IS KING!! This pool guy is just another business trying to make a quick DOLLAR and not worry about his reputation I am GLAD to announce that MY POOL LINER IS LEAKING AGAIN!!!!!!! As of this weekendshould this be warranty??? I am not even going to reach out to this HACKi will find a quality company to TRULY FIX MY POOLall I can say is BUYER BEWARE when it comes to the POOL PATCHER!
