Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:March 20, 2018RE: #[redacted]The dispute has not been resolved with the moving company, A Man With A Van.  Their letter states that I moved with the company twelve times.  I have moved with them numerous times due to real estate transactions. However, this is the first claim I have filed against them and they have refused to pay for their damages.  It also states that I canceled the move three times, but that was only due to the weather conditions and traveling over mountain passes during several snow storms in January.  A rebooking fee was never mentioned at the time of cancelations. I was told January was a slow month and no need to be concerned about any changes due to bad weather.  Also, my understanding from the movers was the moving cost was reduced because they had to stop for lunch and coffee breaks plus refueling. Also, I did not instruct the movers to lift the sofa up over the balcony railing that they damaged, it was their suggestion only.  They stated that they had done it many times in the past.  I was told that the release they requested from me was in case of damages to the sofa only, not the exterior of the property. They also did not provide me with a copy of what I signed, did not thoroughly explain it, and would not wait for me to find my reading glasses. The mover that asked me to sign the document was very rude, demanding, hurried, and unprofessional.  He had me in tears from the beginning of the move to the end.  He bullied me every time he spoke taking advantage that I was a female, senior citizen and alone.  He was rude, unprofessional and very disrespectful towards me.  He also made many personal phones calls that slowed the move, but that were included in my hourly costs. Also, the reason the company did not hear from me right after the move was because I was told by the mover that someone would contact me regarding the damage to the exterior building.  I waited a long time, but never heard from them or an insurance company regarding a claim.  I paid to have their damages fixed, then later send them a copy of the bill for reimbursement, but I have not received any payment for the amount of $178.65.  Since they did not send the reimbursement I felt necessary to file a complaint with the Revdex.com.  This complaint is true to the best of my knowledge. Sincerely,[redacted]

Mrs. [redacted] has used our company over 12 times. This particular move she had changed 3 times with no re booking fee charged to her. That day our men explained to her that moving  the sofa the way she requested could cause damage. Before we did as she instructed they had her...

sign off that we were not responsible if damage was caused. See attached contract. I did not here from Mrs [redacted] until January 2018 1 year later. When she made an anonymous complaint to your site. I recognized her email because she did not leave her name . Under further investigation we have realized she has gone to many sites and posted frivolous reviews making up things about moves that never happened. Posing as different people claiming to have used our services. After this investigation we found she has dose this to many businesses. We did charge her $40.00 for shrink wrap that day, I charged it back to her credit card just because we did not want any issues her estimate that day was 10 hours we took 1.0 hour to load &1.5 hours to unload and it was 3.75 down to Battlement Mesa & 3.75 to return back from Battlement Mesa. for a total of 10 hours X 2 men $99.00 per hour -a 5% repeat customer discount. She paid $950.00 -$40.00 refund $910.00 total. We are considering legal action for false reviews, a simple review of what she dose to business on line and you can very easily see these claims made by her are just not true.
