*** *** contacted us through Home Advisor on 4/24/for a bid on his fencing. *** contacted him via telephone for an onsite appointment and
met with *** *** at *** *** *** ***, CA on 4/24/17. We walked the yard, measured fencing, and discussed types of fencing. I told *** *** that we were experiencing large volumes of requests and it would be a few days until the office could email him a fence bid. He asked if I would please shoot him some preliminary numbers sooner. I said I would shoot him an email.
On 4/27/I sent an email with the preliminary numbers to *** *** as requested
*** *** wanted the estimate written separately for each responsible party. *** *** was unable to provide the information so we did the research for him and did separate bids
On Wednesday 5/3/formal email was sent out to *** *** from our office with estimate #’s *** *** ***
On 5/11/we contacted *** *** to let him know that the contacts were done and we would email them to him. He didn’t want them emailed because he didn’t want to use his printer ink
On Friday 5/12/*** hand delivered to *** *** four printed contracts for each of the parties involved
On Saturday 5/13/*** *** called to inform us that on one of the contacts the name was incorrect. *** sent a text to *** *** that he would pick them up the contract and have it corrected
On Tuesday 5/16/*** picked up the incorrect contact and brought it back to the office
On Friday 5/19/a Doc-U-Sign was sent to *** *** with the corrected contract and copy of estimate*** *** viewed the Doc-U-Sign but did not sign (Page 1, Item Contractors Proposal (Exhibit A is the description of work to be done))
On Friday 5/19/*** *** contacted our office to speak with ***. *** called *** *** back to notify him that because we have not received the signed contracts or down payments from him and his neighbors that our schedule has filled up and we can still do the work but we would not be able to start for days. After several text messages *** *** informed *** that the delay was unacceptable and no longer wanted us to do the work
